XXVI

Serena's pov.

It was now 9am in the morning. I was lying in the bed when Alessio walked out of the bathroom wearing a suit. The conference was in 20 minutes and I didn't go to bathe as yet.

"What are you waiting for?" Alessio said, giving me alot of attitude.

"What are you waiting for?" I said, and gave the same attitude towards him, mocking him.

I slowly got up from the bed, not losing the staring contest we were apparently having.

I quickly grabbed my towel and clothes and walked into the bathroom.

After showering and putting on my clothes I walked out the bathroom. I didn't bother to put on any makeup because

1) I didn't bring any
And 2) I don't really like to wear makeup that much.

"Are you ready to go?" Alessio asked as he fixed his tie in the mirror.

"Yea, just give me a sec. How long is this thing going to be by the way?"

"Well it's only two hours today, but three hours tomorrow."

"Okay, so we are going to the beach after right?"

Alessio chuckled before looking over to me and saying, "Of course we are, sea, sun, sand and i am getting to see you in a bikini."

"Well I am getting to see you shirtness" I snapped back and marched out the door, so he couldn't reply again.

×AT THE CONFERENCE×

A hour has gone already and so far this conference was going really good.

Business men and business women from all around the world were gathered here all seated around this one desk, talking about ways to increase their profits.

I just sat back listening, trying to pay attention. There were not many assistants that were here, I was probably the only one.

I sat next to Alessio and watched as he  talked about merging with another company in another country to increase profits.

I was writing down all what I thought was important, because I knew if Alessio wanted to know something from this discussions i ought to have it.

I looked over to my right and there was this guy at the end of the table who was only staring at me. I tried my best not to look, but I failed miserably.  Every time we would make ehe contact, he would always smile at me.

I mean he was really hot, not Alessio hot, but really hot. At a point I began to smile back at him. Alessio gave me a weird look whenever he saw me smiling for no reason, but he quickly shook it off and got back into the discussion.

As soon as the conference ended everybody got up and began to pack up their writing equipment and materials.

"Why were you smiling like that?"  Alessio asked, arching his eyebrow.

"Like what?"

"You know what"

"There was a guy smiling at me, so I simply smiled back."

Alessio stopped what he wad doing and looked at me with furrowed eyebrows.

"All of the men I saw was very old, please don't tell me you were smiling at a sugar daddy."

"Whatt!! I wasn't, There was this young guy in the corner,who was really cute."

"You can go back to our room now, I just have to finish up a discussion with one of the men." Alessio said quickly  and walked away.

I heard my phone chime and I quickly pulled it out to see the message.

'Why are you not in your apartment, because I am here' As soon as I read that my blood went cold.

He's in my apartment.

I immediately started to panic and began to pace infront of the hotel. I needed to get back to my room and tell Alessio. I needed to tell someone.

As i began to walk out the building I was greated by the same man who was only smiling at me earlier.

"Hi" He said, his voice very husky and deep"

"Hey" I said very quickly and began to walk 

"I saw you in the conference just now and i thought you were cute." He said while catching up with me.

"Why thank you, My name is Serena by the way." I said with a small smile on my face trying to mask my fear.

"David, What hotel are you staying in?"

"The Cascadia and you?"

"The same, you don't mind if I walk you back? "

"Not at all" Even thought we were already half way there.

The walk wasn't that long back to the hotel, probably 8 minutes, and we talked about alot of things, like where we are from, what we like to do for fun etc. He told me about his company but when I kept asking where is is located he changed the topic.

As we arrived at the hotel, we agreed that tomorrow after the conference all 3 of us will go sight seeing, explore Hawaii a bit. We said out goodbyes and went our separate ways. I am really sure Alessio wouldn't like that.

Now, Alessio and I were going on the beach, so i had to put on my bikini. As I reached in the room I decided to keep the message to myself for a little longer but I knew I had to tell him everything soon, because he will find out.

After dressing, and beginning to apply sun screen, Alessio walked in and quickly began to take out his jacket and shirt.

"Hey, can you put sun screen on my back for me?" I asked, and he looked up and me and his jaw slightly dropped. He quickly shook his head and answered sure.

After, when we were both dressed, I put in sun screen for him and we both left the room. We were going to enjoy this day at the beach, because I knew Alessio deserved it, heck even i deserved it and I NEEDED to get him of my mind.
