XXVIII

Serena's pov.

It was now sunday and Alessio and I were getting ready for the conference.

Yesterday at the beach we had lots of fun and David even came and joined us. Alessio was furious when he now arrived. He said that he would try to hurt or kidnap me but I just laughed and glare at him and said that he wouldn't do such a thing, he seems sweet.

After a little while, Alessio finally stopped glaring at him and became friends. Well not really friends but atleast the hateful glares stopped.

Last night had also been slightly awkward at first when we were going to bed, since Alessio offered to sleep on the couch but I denied saying he should be comfortable to and we are both adults, we can sleep on the same bed together. 

I almost told him about the message but I chickened again at the last minute. I actually got alot of sleep that night, well not for the first few hours, but after that I slept like a baby and I woke up in his arms. At first I was startled but quickly recovered when I saw him shift. I immediately moved and went back to my side of the bed acting like nothing happened.

Right now we were both walking to the conference room.

"After this, how about the two of us go on a tour of part of Hawaii?" Alessio asked looking at me.

"Yessss I would love that" I said and jumped in the air. Alessio chucked and kept on walking.

This conference was longer than the one yesterday and I almost fell asleep. TWICE.

I couldn't wait for this to be over, Alessio and I would be touring Hawaii.

After three long hours the conference was finally finished and everyone was saying their goodbyes.

I looked over to David who walked over to me.

"Hey, I was wondering if you want to do something later?" He asked looking at me with those mystical eyes.

"I'm sorry, I'm busy later" I said with sad eyes.

"Oh, it's cool, I will still be seeing you soon, Alessio and I have decided to join companies together with one of his friends Javier."

"That's great, I will be seeing you often then" I said and hugged him.

"Yes, here take my number, you can call whenever you like"

" Thank you, I will definitely use it" I said and grabbed my stuff before walking back to the hotel.

Alessio was probably still talking with his fellow collegues and i didn't want to interrupt him.

I decided to get ready for the tour.

I quickly took a shower and began to look though my close. I decided on a simple blue short pants and black tank top that wrote 'Funday'.

About five minutes later Alessio walked in and rushed into the bathroom screaming 'we have to leave just now in order to see stuff before it gets dark.'

Minutes later he came out of the bathroom fully clothed. I didn't even see when he carried clothes with him.

"Ready?" He asked.

"Ready" I said before slipping in my shoes and walking out the door.

We didn't have a tour guide, only a shitty map we found at the gift shop nearby.

We really didn't know where we were going but we made sure we weren't lost.

We saw quite a few sites and might i saw they were amazing. We took many pictures and we even saw the other chain islands. It was really a beauty. I have never seen such beautiful place in my life.

Afterwards we decided to get something to eat. We couldn't really find a restaurant, so on our way back we just entered the first restaurant we saw.

It was a very classy restaurant and we both looked to under dressed to be here. We didn't leave though.

The waiter guided us to a corner table away from most of the people. The soothing jazz music that played in the back ground made me feel like I was in a movie.

"What do you want to eat?" Alessio asked me.

I looked down at the menu and the first thing that caught my eyes were the prices. One hundred for a bowl of pasta. My eyes widened and Alessio seemed to noticed.

"Hey, don't worry about the price, it's my treat" he said and smiled at me.

I looked over the menu and looked for the cheapest thing possible. I didn't want to buy something too expensive.

"A burger" I said to the waiter who was standing looking at us patiently.

"And for you sir?" He asked Alessio.

"The steak" He told the waiter and he took back our menus.

After he left me and Alessio made conversation. We talked about anything and everything.

Minutes later the food came. The service here is much better than back home.

I took a huge bite of my burger and as soon as it touched my taste buds I knew i was in heaven. This burger was absolutely amazing. I looked over to Alessio who was busy chewing down on his steak. Just looking at my food made my mouth water.

After we finally finished our food we decided to go back to the hotel, since it was really late, and our flight was in the morning.

We almost reached the hotel, when suddenly Alessio just stopped walking.

I turned to him and looked at him with a confused look on my face.

"I can't do this anymore" He said looking me dead in the eyes.

"Do what?"

"This. For a while now I have began to develop feelings for you, and by the day it is just growing, ever since I saw you in the club that night I couldn't forget you. I thought I would never see you again but then you came and was hired to be my assistant and boy, I couldn't be happier. I didn't need to bring you to Hawaii with me but I wanted to because I wanted to spend more time with you. The day when I almost kissed you at you place, I really wished that phone hadn't rung. I would have gotten to do what i have wanted to do for a long time. I wanted to do this." He said and grabbed my waist pulling me closer and slamming his lips against mine.

At first I was shocked, to say the least but when I finally wrapped my head around what was going on, I did the unthinkable. Something I never thought I would have done.
