Alessio's pov.

The minutes I saw her I knew she had to be mine. I knew it would take time and I am willing to wait if it means I would have her for the rest of my life.

I sat at my desk thinking these thoughts while trying to finish some paperwork.

There was a conference coming up and I had to go even though I don't want to. Xavier and Serena will be coming with me and that's the one thing I am excited for. Hopefully, she says yes.

My eyebrows furrowed as I watched the paper in front of me. I passed my hands through my hair and closed my eyes. I could sense someone was looking at me. When I opened my eyes and looked up I saw her. I looked her directly in her eyes and smiled.

She quickly turned back to her desk, trying to hide the blush I already saw. I chuckled to my self and got off my chair. I decided to give this work a break and go talk to her. I opened my door swiftly and as I looked at her, she quickly grabbed a pen an began to do some paperwork. I smirked and walked up to her.

Hey", I said as he pulled up a chair beside her.

"Hey" she replied back.

"Can you do something for me? There is a conference in Hawaii that I need to attend this weekend for two days, can you book our plane tickets and rooms?" I asked.

"Yea sure. How many people are going?"

"Three people, Xavier, you and I"

"Me?"

"Yup, you are my assistant."

"Oh yeah, no problem, I'll get right on that"

I got up from the chair and walked back into my office. She came in a little bit later to hand me the information for the hotel.

Seconds later I saw my phone ring and the Caller ID showing it was Charlie. My mood instantly went downhill. The last time I talked to him I told him I never wanted to talk to him again but here he is calling me. I quickly denied the call and got back to my work.

For the rest of the workday, I didn't talk to anybody, I finished up all my paperwork and I couldn't wait to get home.

As soon i entered my house, i began to take off my clothes. Sometimes being in a suit all day is very uncomfortable, but I have gotten used to it.

I quickly changed into gym clothes and made my way to my in house gym. I stayed there for about an hour trying to get all my anger out and it mostly worked. I took a long, hot shower to relieve my tense muscles.

As soon as I laid down I heard my bedroom door open and Xavier's big head appear in my vision.

"What are you doing here? You know there is a door for you to knock on" I said with a groan.

"Yes, and I have keys for your house and I don't care." He said grabbing the controllers from the cupboard and throwing one at me.

For most of the night, we placed games until Xavier finally got tired of my whining and went to the guest room has been his room for a while since he is always here.
