"Ya Allah.." i groaned whilst fixing he tie..
"Where's ammi?"  I asked Aziz who was busy texting..
"Aunty went ahead.. not everyone takes 24 hours to get ready"
He said sarcastically.

"Will you tie this for me?"
I gave him the black tie with grey flowers on it.. well I'm wearing  charcoal colour Armani suit with white shirt underneath, same coloured blazer and trousers. Accessories include Giorgio Armani watch -my favourite & the engagement ring.

"I feel like I'm your wife"
Aziz laughed & tied it.

"Im looking more handsome than you Ibrahim"

"Flatter yourself Aziz.."
I laughed off..

I'm already tired of constantly Saying those words..
I'm here at the stage.. people are coming one after the another, hugging me, congratulating me; blessing me..
Suddenly, everyone went silent. I saw the main doors open, then she came, with an arm looped with her dad's, Looking breathtaking in her skyblue-golden gown, beautiful hijab wrapped around her head, her gaze buried deep in the ground..

When she came near, Aziz nudged me hard in my stomach, signalling me..
Ya Allah, what would I do without him..

I went and offered her my hand & uncle Akil placed hers, smiling.

She looked at me and I  swear she looked fantastic.. those brown-amber eyes shining, a small genuine smile played on her lips, almost no makeup on that flawless skin...

We sat at our respective seats as guests started coming again...
Whole time I didn't look at her, bcuz I knew if I did, I won't stop staring..

It's time for our departure... Everything is different from what I thought... no one cried (except arzoo) not even the bride..when she was busy  hugging everyone...

Hussain hugged me and said -
"You know I'm a very calm and collected person..hate violence.."
