I was walking towards the beach where My friends and I would normally hang out. But I was by myself it took about ten minutes. The sun was quite high in the sky and there wasn't a cloud in sight. The sun, as a result was reflecting off the ocean. The resulting effect was beautiful. I saw a small gathering of teens. My age. I saw Ellie amongst them. Ellie looked as beautiful as ever. I let out a sigh.
"Um, Lucy right," a person said from behind me. I spam around. The boy that I kissed yesterday as a dare was stood before me. His eyes were hazel. His hair blond and curly. "My name is Miles," he said. He sounded British. His skin was pale and hair dark. I liked him. He seemed nice.
"Yeah I'm Lucy," I smiled at him.
"Everyone else is by the fire pit. It's further up the beach," he smiled at me. He grabbed my hand and pulled me up the beach. I wasn't scared but there was a feeling that I should've been. We reached the fire pit and all the squad were there but Rhys. I started to chew on my lip.
"Rhys is sick apparently," someone said. Answering my in asked question. I pulled my phone out off my pocket on my shorts.
Doctors appointment be at the beach in an hour
