Family (Pt 3)

-Lucy's POV- 

I woke up the next day. My bed felt empty with just me in it and he was only here once. There was a knock on the door. 

"Hey can I come in" A masculine voice said.

"Sure" I replied as the door opened, Luke, he walked over to my bed and sat by me.

"Someone has to tell you," He said "I drew the short straw."

"What? Is Ash okay?" I asked knowing he didn't come home last night.

"Maybe we should take you to see him," Luke said.

"What is wrong with him?"  I really wanted to know before doing else

"You know the gun shots last night? One of the bullets hit Ashton in the leg," Luke paused and looked at me, "Do you want to go see him?" I shook my head even though I really wanted to, I didn't want to go back to a hospital. Luke nodded then left my room,

"No she doesn't want to see him." Luke said to someone stood outside my door,

"I thought they were an item." A feminine voice said

"So did everyone else," Luke

"Or she doesn't want to go to the hospital." A different voice said that I couldn't work out if it was male or female, "Can we go see him now?" So it was Ashton's brother and mum offering to take me to see him. I got up and dressed. Putting a bit of makeup on, I had dark circles as I spent half the night tossing and turning. I heard the front door open and close. 

"Luke?" I shouted

"Yeah?" I heard a reply, 

"Can you come here?" 

"Sure," My door opened "What do you want?" 

"Luke can you take me shopping?" I asked

"Sure, why?" He asked,

"Not aloud by myself. Bring Calum if you want." I sighed 

"Fine I will get some shoes on and grab Calum." He said. I picked up my credit card, purse and handbag walked to the door,

"Lucy where are you going?" Harry asked stopping me.

"Shopping." I replied

"With?" he asked

"Luke and Calum." I muttered I didn't feel like answering a bunch of questions right then. 

"Come on then Lu." Luke said rushing past me grabbing me with is good hand. Luke had keys in his hand and got in their rental car I bagged shotgun Calum was in the back in the middle, Luke was driving. 

"Where first Lu?" Luke asked

"The mall," I said 

"Okay," Luke said

"What about Friday and the party?" I asked not realizing that had been on my mind since last night, "Is Ashy going to be okay?" No one answered. I looked out the window. 

"We don't know." Calum finally answered,

"What do you mean?" I asked turning to look at them,

"We don't know if Ashton will be okay, yet," Luke said. "Were here" he added parking the car. I grabbed my bag from the foot well and climed out the car. I started to walk towards the shops. 

"Lu wait up, we can't loose you or Harry will kill us." Luke said jogging over to me followed by Calum. I rolled my eyes. Calum grabbed my wrist. And I lead them to all my favourite shops. I brought make up, jewelry, belly tops, tank tops, tee shirts, skirts, skinny jeans, leggings, shorts, high-wasters, shoes, dresses, new phone cases and a present for each of the boys with help from Luke and Calum. I was carrying 80% in my handbag. Calum and Luke carried four bags between them. But they only had a lot less than me and they were complaining.
