I absolutely hate being the girl. Being the girl means I always get stuffed in the back because all the guys are taller than me, blah blah blah! My boyfriend's car= my front seat!
Apparently not though because right now I'm sitting in the back while my annoying brother sits up front.
"Okay, now the keys to every cell are in a password protected lockbox in my father's office. The problem is getting past the front desk." Stiles explains to Derek and I.
"I'll distract her." Derek suggest.
Stiles and I both look at Derek as if he is stupid. "Whoa, whoa, whoa... You? You're not going in there." Stiles places his hand on Derek but quickly retracts it when Derek glares at him. "I'm taking my hand off."
"I was exonerated." He says plainly, obviously he's not getting why me and Stiles are so bewildered.
"You're still a person of interest." Stiles hastily points out.
"An innocent person." He states dumbly again.
"An inni- yea your right." I scoff leaning forward. "Say we do let you go in, what's your plan?" I question crossing my arms over my chest and throwing a 'hmm' look in his direction.
"To distract her." I swear if Derek wasn't stronger than me I would kick his ass from one side of Beacon Hills to the other right now.
"Uh... Huh. How? By punching her in the face? Unh." Stiles now ask, joining in on my interrogation.
"Heh, by talking to her." Derek throws out there making me want to beat my head against the window... Repeatedly.
"Oh of course!" I sarcastically snap. "Let me hear this, how are you gonna start?" I ask staring at Derek, in return he just looks at me blankly. "No nothing? Oh I'm sure this is going to go so fan-fucking-tastic!" I huff throwing myself back in the seat.
"I'm thinking about punching you in the face." Derek threatens me.
"Do it, I dare you." I push turning my head to the side and tapping my check.
"Devin stop!" Stiles hisses.
"Look I can do it, just let me go." Stiles gives me a worried glance to which at this point I just shrug.
"At this point I'm not even worried."

"Good evening, how can I help... you?" The the deputy's eyes meet Derek she is in awe."Hi." Derek awkwardly says walking up.
"Oh this is just fucking great." I mumble to Stiles as we hide.
"Hi." The deputy flirts leaning on the counter.
"Um, I had a question. Um, sorry I'm a little - a little thrown. I wasn't really expecting someone... " Derek beings flirting.
"This is gonna be a train wreck." I hiss but Stiles shuts me up by placing a hand on my mouth.
"Like me?" She ask batting her eyelashes.
"Oh, I was gonna say "so incredibly beautiful" but, yeah, I guess that'd be the same thing." With this they launch into conversation and Stiles grabs my hand tugging me down the hall.
"Stiles look." I point to the drips of blood on the ground in front of us. "Oh, no."
I feel a shot in my leg, looking up I see a bleeding "deputy" before I go down and black out.
*******
Slowly I my eyes peel open and I'm meet with bright lights. "Every damn time." I groan throwing my hand over my eyes.I hear someone stand up quickly before there is a presence beside me. "Well maybe if you were more careful this wouldn't be a problem."
My eyes fly open as I glare at my brother. "Maybe I shouldn't be the one doing the dangerous stuff." I snap glaring. Derek stared down at me not amused. "What the hell happen anyways?"
