Naruto had promised himself that he would get back to friendship of his old teammate and first love, and when Naruto promises something, he never gives up.

He found his first opportunity when he barged into Tsunade's office. Tsunade just happened to be briefing Sakura's mission to her.

"Sakura's going on a mission?" Naruto frowned slightly. "Can I come too?"

Sakura completely ignored him.

"No Naruto, this is a very important mission, that I was only planning on sending Sakura on." Tsunade intervened.

"Pleeeeeeeeease Granny Tsunade. Pleeeeeease?" Naruto whined.

Tsunade sighed, perhaps it wouldn't hurt to send Naruto along with Sakura, maybe she'll send Kakashi as well. Plus, Tsunade knew from experience that Naruto's whining could go on for hours.

"Fine."

While Naruto silently celebrated, Sakura have a huff of annoyance and left the room, still ignoring Naruto.

Tsunade was slightly confused by Sakura's behaviour, but Naruto spoke before she could think too much of it.

"So, could you please explain what this mission will include?"
