68 (The Queen's Backstory!)

Kisaki, The Queen of Masks, finally arrived in the safety of the thick woods that resided beside her village. Pressing her back to a tree, Kisaki slid down to the ground, pulling her knees to her chest. Ripping her mask off of her face, she dissolved into a fit of sobs. Aiko. Sweet, sweet, Aiko, her adorable little brother had died at the age of 86. Evret had died seven years ago, Evelyn following two days later. Her father had passed away 23 years ago, his last words being that he could finally be with his wife, Emiko.

But Kisaki? She had not aged a day since the time she accepted the necklace from her master, who had died about 71 years ago.

Kisaki had officially lost everyone. She was alone in this world.

Swiping her arm across her face, Kisaki buckled the blue and grey mask to her belt. She put on her best brave face even though no one was there to witness it, and bolted straight into the the woods. She didn't know where she was going, but she had a feeling that she wouldn't get there for a long time.
