*Update (12/6/18)*: BTS. (I hope that caught your attention). For those of you who commented bamboozle, I'm writing a BTS fanfic! The Guardian! Go check it out because I'm in constant need of validation!
"So. Plan?" Sakura leaned against the door frame leading into the large room. Hinata sat in front of the fire place, the clacking of her knitting needles the only thing disturbing the silence between them.
"I don't really have one." Hinata admitted after a few moments. "I was thinking of just searching the place for whatever is causing the moon to head closer to the earth."
Not moving from her position, Sakura created two shadow clones and both of them sped away in opposite directions. "Ok, done. If they sense any danger and can't properly hide, they'll disperse and their knowledge will come back to me. Anything else you want me to do?"
Hinata's eyes widened. "N-no. I didn't know you could make shadow clones."
Sakura just shrugged herself off of the door frame and took a few steps towards Hinata. "I picked it up a few years back."
Hinata nodded, knowing by now not to question Sakura much because her dodging answers never really made sense. Sakura came to sit on the floor beside Hinata's legs, staring blankly into the flames. "I wonder what the boys are thinking right now."
Hinata nodded sadly, her eyes hooded. "They're probably very confused and worried."
"Well, I was thinking more along the lines of pissed off. At least for my brother, he's probably really angry that he didn't get to tag along." Sakura chucked, imagining an angry Rui stomping around.
Hinata laughed. "You two must be close."
"Yep." Sakura agreed. "I don't know what I would have done without him." She went quiet for a moment. "Really. I don't know how I would have survived that day without my big brother."
"What day?"
And so everything came out. Sakura told the story of her master, The Queen of
Masks, and Hinata told about her childhood and how she fell for Naruto. And at that moment, thousands of miles away from their home, one about to be married to an evil man on the moon and the other about to become a mistress to the same man, the two girls became closer than they ever had before. They laughed and then they cried. They poured themselves out to each other and eventually fell asleep by the flickering flames in the fireplace. Hinata siting on one couch and Sakura leaning against the other, their legs intertwined with each other.
In all truthfulness, my main motivation to get this chapter out so soon was to preach the news of the two new music videos by my favourite band, BTS. XD Seriously though, watch em! I'm not sure if the links will work and if they don't, just search up the titles of the songs and add "BTS" to the end. There's nothing inappropriate in them, just a bunch of Korean boys running around for Spring Day and a bunch of Korean boys running around and dancing (it was amazing) for Not Today.
Tell me what you guys think of the songs!
Another reason is that I felt a bit guilty for the short chapter last time, so two short chapters equal one long chapter!
Also, sorry for the filler-ish chapter, but I'll (probably) get another one out this week if not in a day or two.
