Hashirama sat in the forest, enjoying the sounds of nature. It had been a while since he had some time alone. It had been a year since Madara and him had began to build the village and it was nowhere near done yet.
"You must be a very skilled ninja to sneak up on me like that." Hashirama closed his eyes and chuckled.
"You mean like this?"
Hashirama's eyes popped open at the closeness of the voice, and he found himself staring into a pair of grey-blue eyes, feeling the owner's warm breath on his nose and lips.
He ducked his head and rolled over his shoulder to the side, landing in a crouch. The young woman watched him, her eyes swimming with amusement and an expression one might have when watching a small child playing in the sand. She was inhumanly beautiful.
"Who are you?" Hashirama kept his muscles tense. She was dangerous, he could feel it.
She stood up and took a step forwards, causing Hashirama to jump backwards, standing up as well, his hands in front of him. On the defensive.
"I'll let you guess." She unhooked a mask that Hashirama hadn't noticed before for her belt and fitted it onto her face.
Short blue hair, grey eyes, and a mask. The Queen of Masks.
Should he fight? No, he wouldn't stand a chance. Run? No-
"So I heard you're going to build a village, eh?" She interrupted his racing thoughts.
Talk himself out of this? It was worth a shot. "Yep. Madara and I finally stop the war between the Uchihas and Senjus and now we're building a village for our people. Is a pretty lady like you going to visit?"
She tilted her head, hair falling off her shoulder. "I don't know, is a handsome man like you going to be there to greet me if I do?"
"Perhaps. I'll ask my brother if he's willing."
The Queen chuckled at his jest. She waved a hand in his direction, "Relax. If I wanted to kill you I already would have." She sat down against a tree, pulling her knees to her chest and resting her chin on them, taking her mask off again. "I was just bored and I haven't talked to anyone in forever. And then you appeared out of nowhere, like a dream come true."
Hashirama chuckled, loosing all of his previous tension. "Yep, I tend to do that to people."
