Kisaki stared at the ground, slumped against the tree, her mind wandering hundreds of years away. She remembered her family and regretted ever moment she spent ignoring them. Exept for when she was training. She would never regret training.
"Master?"
Kisaki startled, finally noticing her beloved student, Sakura sitting beside her. Still in a daze, Kisaki fumbled with her words before telling a quick recap of her family life, training, master, and how she lived so long, before revealing the necklace. She watched as Sakura's eyes sparkled with appreciation as she took in the sight of the beautiful crystal, that held much more power than she could even begin to imagine.
Kisaki felt tears filled her eyes along with an overpowering feeling of freedom. She could finally see them again. She repeated the thought out loud and pressed her fingers on the crystal now hanging around Sakura's neck instead of her own.
Sakura still had a lot to learn about the many secrets the necklace held, but Kisaki had complete faith in her young student.
With that, she pushed some of her chakra into the crystal, releasing it's spell on her, and passing on to the other side.
