(Nialls Pov)

I get up from the sofa and make my way to the kitchen where i hear liam saying goodbye to somebody on the phone

"Who was that" i go straight to the fridge and get a bear out.

"That was your girlfriend." he snatches the bear off me "and she is very worried about you"

"Oh god" i sit down at the kitchen table and put my head in my hand

"Niall... what happened" liam sits opposite me.

"Kieran!" i look up to him "kieran happened"

"Kieran is laurens ex boyfriend"

"No kieran was Laurens best friend from school! they were best friends from year 3 till they finished school and went their separate ways"

"Soo... what was the problem."

"The problem was lauren had a huge crush on him all the years they were best friends but he never knew. this morning we had no milk so i went out and got some and when i came back i hear that kieran is in our living room telling lauren hes had feelings for her all these years."

"But niall, lauren loves you!"

"Liam how do i stand a chance over him. shes had feeling for him since year 3."

"Not anymore" liam sits back

"How do you know"

"She told me." he sits forward again "she told niall that when you came into her live she forgot all them feelings about kieran and. they went straight to you! she said you do have a chance over him because she loves YOU!! And you've got james dont forget that."

"I said that wasnt good enough" i whisper in shame

"Yes she told me that! why niall why isn't it good enough"

"I DONT KNOW!" i take a deep breath "i dont know! i didnt mean it of course she and james are good enough, their more then good enough"

"Why did you say that then? lauren now probably thinks you don't want to be a family anymore"

"I do. i do 100 per cent i do! i panicked when i heard kieran say he had feeling for her aswell. i panicked liam and just ran out when lauren came after me, i dont know i wasnt thinking i was all over the place i felt lauren was gonna leave me and started a family with kieran and my son. of course their good enough, its me that i feel isn't good enough for her"

"She loves you niall and wants you back. isnt that good enough"

"I dont know"

"Niall if you werent good enough and she wanted to be with kieran do you really think shed ring me in tears begging for you back"

"She was crying"

"Yes she was i had to tell her to calm down. i couldnt understand a word she was saying. i told her that i would talk to you and you can have a night here to calm down then ill have you back with her tomorrow"

"I wanna go back home liam" i whisper "back to my family, back to my beautiful girlfriend and gorgeous son"

"I know mate. i know you do. but i think you should stay a night here let you and lauren calm down and ill drive you back tomorrow morning yeah?"

"Okay" i stand up and we start to make our way to the stairs "do you think she will take me back" i turn around just before going up the stairs

"Niall of course she will, she wants you back as much as you want to go back" he smiles and gives me a hug

"I love you man. i dont know what i'd do without you"

"Haha i love you too mate"
