Ive just come back from town, for the first day without niall being here I thought id take it slow. James is peacefully sleeping in his rocker. he was getting a bit too big for his mossies' basket so jut before niall went on tour we went and got him a little rocker seat that rocks back and forth and some toys attached to it, james loves it and sleeps very peacefully in it so hes sorted! Bellas happy playing with her toy I bought her earlier. So I start with unpacking the food, we had hardly anything in so I did a weeks shop, it was quite easy because I just needed food that I fancied normally I have to stand thinking if niall would like it or have to call him, I did kind of miss doing that but I suppose I got it done quicker. Now ive finished with unpacking I slowly make my way around the house tiding each room. When I reach mine and nialls room, I start picking up the clothes weve just thrown on the chair in the corner of our room. I throw the clothes in the washing basket in the landing, when I see something white. I pick it up and hold it out infront of me looking it up and down. Its one of nialls plain white tops. Hes got about 5 of them, so took 4 with him and obviously forgot about this one. I pull It close to my face and smell it , it smells just like niall. A tear runs down my cheek as I shake my head "No lauren, keep it together for james!" I throw the topback in the basket and put the lid on.
"Right" I sit down at the kitchen table with a pen and pad. "Writing time" I thought Id start on my first song. I sit there tapping the pen on the pad with my head in my hand and rocking james with my foot.
After 20 minutes im still sitting there with only one word on my pad 'Niall' I wrote in fancy slanted writing. "Oh my god" I drop the pen down and push the pad away from me "This is so hard" I cross my arms and rest my head on them.
"Mummy never knew writing could be so hard." I lean down to a sleeping james. I just didn't know what to write about, love? hate? children? friends? family? life? I just didn't know so I gave up!
"Finally" I drop into bed. Finally the first day has past. day 1 out of 3 months done! now I finally have a couple of hours not thinking about anything just sleeping!!
I grab my phone: 9:00 it reads as I look at my lock screen which is the picture of niall and james on the day james was born "itll be 4 in America." I say to myself, I don't know wether toring niall, I don't know what hes doing but I ring him anywhere.
"Hey baby." I breath in relieve of niall voice, I thought he wouldn't pick up.
"Heyy. nialler"
"So how has your first day gone?"
"Umm okay I guess."
"yeah? what have you been up to?"
"well I went shopping in the morning cus we had no food in, then when I got back I unpacked. umm tidied the house. I picked up one of your white top and just stood smelling it." I shouldn't of said that he must think im crazy!
"Realyy?"
"Yeah It just smelt of you and I just felt like I was with you. is that weird"
"no its not baby." he laughs "so what else have you done?"
"Well when I snapped out of that I thought id write my first song."
"Yeah what you got."
"niall" I pick up the pad from my side table and sighed at it.
"What"
"Niall! that's all I wrote."
"Ohh so im your first song hey?"
"ha I just didn't know what to write, I cant even remember writing niall I must of just wrote it while I was in my thoughts"
"Yeah? what was your thoughts?"
"you" I can feel the tears coming but I hold them back for niall, to show him I can be strong
"Oh lauren!i couldn't stop thinking about you all the way here. the boys had to keep snapping me out of staring into space. I miss you so much."
"I miss you too" I sigh "so what are you doing now"
"Oh were just back stage at the moment. im just checking my mentions on twitter."
"Ahh" I smile
"HEY LOVE BIRDS!" I hear in the back ground, ovs Louis!
"haha hi Louis"
"Lou loz says hi. all the boys say hi."
"Hi boys." I laugh
"Lauren says hi back" he shouts back to the boys "Anyway im really sorry babe but we go on in a minute. will you be okay."
"yeah yeah ill be fine im going sleep anyways. you go on stage and just enjoy yourself okay?"
"okay." he laughs "will you be watching our live performance tomorrow night?"
"I wouldn't miss it."
"good haha. im soo nervous."
"don't worry about it babe, you've done a live performance anyway."
"yeah but only one song now a whole show" I hear him sigh
"oh youll be fine niall you always are."
" haha im glad ive got you loz"
"im glad ive got you too nialler."
"yeah im coming" I hear him shout "im sorry the boys are shouting"
"its okay I really tired anyway. go have fun baby. I love you soo much."
"I love you to with all my heart, and give jamesa kiss goodnight for me."
"will do."
"bye" he does a kiss noise into the phone
"bye" I do a kiss noise back as I hang up.
