Chapter : 7

Third person POV:

As the Sky people and one Trikru person, walked through the forest. All had grave faces, no one spoke. The only noise that could be heard was the crunching of leafs as they walked.

What happened at the village could only be forgiven if Blood has Blood, everyone knew this, but they tried not to think of it.

It was just before sundown when they arrived at the Ark camp, everyone was tired, "STOP, IDENTIFY YOURSELVES." The guard Ron shouted when  they were near the gate.

"IT'S US, RON." Bellamy Blake shouted back. "OPEN THE GATE, THERE BACK." Ron shouted to the other gurad.

All of them walked through the gate once it was open, when they were inside the camp. Abby griffin came up to them, "What happened out there?" She asked as she looked over the faces of everyone, her gaze stopping on Alec.

"Take him back to lockup." Was all she said.

"No!" Raven Rayes stood in front of Alec glaring at Abby.

"his people don't have our people. His here to help Abby." This time it was Bellamy that said it. Abby noded.

"Come with me kids." Abby said as she walked into the Ark, towords her office.

They all followed her silently, when they got into her office, the door closed. They all stood in front of her desk, Raven held onto Alec's hand tightly. Finn was looking at the ground, Bellamy stood with confidence. Clarke right next to him. Octavia was on the other side of Alec. They all looked at Abby who was seated behind the desk.

"Mind telling me why there's a Grounder army marching this way?" Abby said in a calm voice.

"They want Finn's blood. He killed 18 of there people, trying to find me." Clarke responded.

"What happens if we don't give them Finn?" Abby asked Alec.

"My people will attack, Blood must have blood." Alec replied.

"We can't let them have Finn." Raven said her voice rising.

"We won't." Abby told them.

"What if me, Raven, and Octavia, go talk to the commander? To see if we can make peace." Alec subjected.

"Do you think that will work?" Abby asked him.

"We can try." Was all he said.

"And if that doesn't work?" Abby asked them.

"War." Bellamy replied.

"Let's hope it doesn't come to that." Abby said.  They all noded and walked out of Abby's office.

When they got outside, they all went there separate ways, Raven, Octavia and Alec would go talk to the commander in the morning.

Raven took Alec's hand leading him to her tent that she was asinged. They were both silent as they walked. You could see the Grounders if you looked out the gate, there were alot of them. They were saying "Blood must have blood" over and over again.

When Raven and Alec got to her tent, they went inside. Raven sat on the makeshift bed, letting go of Alec's hand. "Do you think we can condense the commander to be allies?" Raven asked Alec as he came to sit next to her. "I really don't know, we can try." He told her with a frown on his face.

He knew that the commander, wouldn't give in easily. Blood must always have blood, he just hoped they could change that.

Raven sighed, it had been a long day, she layed down and closed her eyes. Alec too layed down next to her, today was a long day, but he had a feeling Tommorw was going to be longer.

He thought of this friend who died.

Flashback.

Two young boys were sparing, sword in hand the one boy charged at the other. Both swigging there swords, back and forth.

It wasn't till the one boy, took a knife from his boot. Knife in one hand, and his sword in the other, he charged at the other boy. Shouting "ai will win disha time." The other boy did not look afraid.

He laughed, with a smirk on his face he too charged forward with is sword.  Metal clashing agentst metal. Both boys not giving up. The one boy took the knife he was holding and held it agentst the other boys throat. "Ai win. Hunter." The boy said. "Wrong." The boy twisted the other boys arm behind his back, the knife making a clunging noise as it fall to the floor.

Hunter laughed at the younger boy, as he let go of his arm. "mebi next time Alec." Hunter told him. With a smile, picking up his sword that had fallen to the ground. " mebi tomorrow, Alec." He said to the younger boy as he walked away. "tomorrow osir will gonplei again." Alec shouted at the older boy. Hunter just laughed and noded at the younger boy.

End of flashback.

Alec smiled at the memory, he would miss is friend. With that thought he too fall asleep.

The sun was yet to wake, when Raven, Alec, and Octavia. Woke up to go speak to ge commander. If they could not reason with her, they would all die by sundown. The three stood strong in front of the gate.

Octavia and Bellamy, we're hugging, "Be careful O." Bellamy whispered in his sisters ear. Octavia noded at her Big brother.

Raven walked up to Finn who wasn't very welcomed in the Ark camp, "you made a mistake. But I'm not going to let you die for it." Raven told him as she wrapped her arms around him. " just be careful please." Finn told her, She noded at him and walked towards the gate.

Clarke, Bellamy and Chancellor Abby. Watched as the three walked out the gate and towords the Grounders camp. Hoping that they could reason with the Commander.

Raven held Alec's hand as they walked out the Ark camp, and towards the Grounders camp.

Though they didn't really know each other well, they trusted each other. Raven looked at Octavia, Octavia gave her a smirk in return. They too were hoping they could complete this mission. So they walked up to the front of the Grounders camp.
