Chapter : 13

Raven's POV:

"Octavia." I said as I walked to where she was, she looked up at me from where she was sitting on a tree stump, sharping her sword.

"Raven." She replied as she got up and put her sword back in it's holder.

"I just came to say goodbye." I told her as I hugged her.

"You going back to the Ark?" She asked.

"Yeah I've got to get working on that radio." I told her

"Well good luck." She said Well smiling at me.

"You be careful too." I hugged her again.

"Indra, has made me her second. So I've got a lot of training to do. I'll see you soon." She told me

"Octavia the grounder warrior, I kinda like the sound of it." I chuckled.

"May we meet again." She said to me giving me one last smile. I smiled in return, she then went to say goodbye to Clakre.

I walked to where the horses were waiting for me and Clarke.

I petted the horse I was to ride, it was a white horse. I put my stuff on the side bag it had on it, then climbed up onto it's back. Holding the rains.

Clarke came not long after, climbing onto the horse she was going to ride, she noded to me then we were off. I waved at Octavia, and followed Clarke into the forest.

They had been riding for an hour now, when a "Crack" was heard through out the forest. I looked over at Clarke who was riding next to me.

We got of our horses, and looked around, I got out my knife that I had with me. I saw something behind a tree.

Poiting to where I saw it, "Clarke over there." I said to her, she looked at where I was pointing and started walking that way, wig me right behind her.

What we saw when we got to where I pointed was someone in a yellow hazematt suit, the person was looking at a flower. Clakre walked around the trees so that I was on one side of the person and he was on the other.

Clarke held up three finger and started counting down. When she had zero fingers held up I jumped form where i had been croched, and Clarke came up behind the person and held him in place. Well I held my knife to his neck.

"Who are you?" Clarke asked the person which was a man.

"Emerson, my name is Emerson." He answered.

"Come with us and we won't harm you." Clarke said. Emerson noded Clarke pushed him forward, towords the horses.

Emerson rode on the back of Clarke's horse, when we were close to the gate of the Ark. The guards shouted " STOP. Identify yourselves."

"Ron, it's Clarke. Open the gate." Clarke said, we rode in with our horses when the gate was open.

Abby came running up to us, "Take him to lockup. And don't take his suit off." Clarke instructed.

"Raven can you get started on that raido?" Clarke asked looking at me.

"On it." I noded to her and Abby then went into the Ark. Where my old work station was, so I could make the raido that could possibly save ours and Alec and Bellamys lives.

Clarke's POV:

I went to lockup, to go see Emerson. When I got there he was lening agentst the wall. "Open it up." I told one of the guards that were there.

The door to the lockup opened, "You, come on." I gestured for him to follow me. And he did, we walked outside the Ark towards the gate.

When we got to the gate, my mother came up to me, " Clarke what are you doing?" She asked. Kane was standing behind her.

"Letting him go." Was all I said.

"Get him back to lockup." My mother said.

"Open the gate." I told Ron the guard.

He opened the gate, I turned to Emerson.

"Your going to deliver a message to Cage." He noded.

"Tell him that our army is bigger then he thinks, and we won't give up until we get our people back. This is his last chance to surrender and give them to us." I said.

"It takes eghit hours from here to get to mount weather. Your going to do it in six." I said as I let some of the air out of his airtank.

"How will I deliver your message if I'm dead?" He asked me.

"Well you better start running." I replied back.

He ran out the gate and into the forest out of our sights. My mother turned to me not looking happy.

"You might be the chancellor, but we're in charge here." I told her walking towards the Ark to go see how Raven was doing on the radio.

When I got to Raven's work station, she was cursing under her breath. "Raven, how's it coming?" I asked her when I was standing next to her.

"It's only going to be ready to work, at the latest tomorrow. Earliest later tonight, it's the best I can do." Raven replied looking for a part on the table for the raido.

"Let's make it the earliest, rather then latest." I said to her, she noded.

"What's happening with the Emerson guy?" She asked.

"I let him go." I said taking a seat on one of the chairs next to where Raven was.

"Oh the chancellor must of not been happy with that." She said chucking, while building the raido.

"She wasn't." I smirked at Raven.

"Why did you let him go?" She asked not looking at me focusing on the radio.

"If they think we have a bigger army, all there attention will be on us. And not on Bellamy or Alec." I told her, thinking of Bellamy. I hope his okay.

"Good thinking, they won't know what hit them." Raven replied smirking at me.

"Well I better go see what else I can do in the mean time. I'll come check on you later." I got up from where I had been sitting gave a nod to Raven and walked out of her work station.
