My Human Boy

"Samantha Jane Dean you will get up this instant!!" I heard my mother yell at me from downstairs.

"Ugh mom, I have no reason to go to school! Do I have to?" I shouted back.

"It is your last day of the semester you need to be there!" She replied.

"Well on that note we better get up," my wolf, Abby, told me.

"Yeah, you're right," I mind-linked back to her. So with that note I got up and took inventory of my room. It wasn't big, but it wasn't small either, it was perfect for a girl like me. A small loft bed was in the corner above a desk with a window on the wall above it, bookcases lined the walls where they could. There was a small window on the wall in between two of the bookcases and there were a few boxes with my personal needs for my trip to England. I smiled at the thought of going to England.

"Maybe we will find mate at university?" my wolf howled happily.

"Maybe, I hope so," I replied to her, I was the only unmated female under the age of 25 in the pack and my best friends, Leah and Sean (who are mated to each other), won't stop harassing me about it. The one thing I wasn't looking forward to about finding my mate was having to take control of the pack. I was set to become alpha as soon a I find my mate because my father was the last alpha and he was killed in a rogue attack a few months ago.

"CRAP!!" I yelled allowed when I saw the time, I quickly grabbed my clothes for the day and ran to the bathroom only to find it occupied by my wonderful older brother, Nicoli, and his mate, Colette. I could here their moans from my room as I walked back.

"Gross bro," I mind-linked to Nicoli, "Now get the hell out of the shower so I can take a shower, you have a bedroom for a reason."

"Alright sis," he replied, "give me five more minutes, I'm almost done."

"No Nicoli," I replied, "Now."

"Is that an order?" he asked.

" Yes Nicoli, that's an order," I replied as I heard Colette finish, God that girl had loud sex.

"Yes alpha," he replied as I heard him turn the water off and head to his room, Colette in tow.

Sometimes being the almost alpha has its perks. I headed back to the shower and did what I needed to do then ran like an axe murderer was after me to get to school on time. Upon arrival I was greeted by a make out session between Leah and Sean in our usual hang out spot.

"Come on guys keep it PG," I said as I walked up. Man they were lucky, they had been mated since we all were five and Leah moved here. Immediately their inner-wolves knew that they were mates and they have been inseparable since then.

"Oh if you want some I'll share" Sean said as he leaned towards me puckering his lips.

"Keep those things off of me!" I yelled as I leaped away.

"I can't believe you leave for England tomorrow," Leah said with tears in her eyes as she hugged me.

"I can't believe it either," I whispered as I hugged her back. As I said that Leah backed over to Sean and they walked into the school. I headed for the library since I already have all of my high school credits and graduated as a freshmen, I've just kept going to pacify my mom. On the way there all of the other werewolves in the hall bowed their heads to me and mind-linked the words "hello alpha" to me.

The day went by uneventful and I returned home at three o'clock to walk in the door and hear my brother and his girlfriend going at it again while my 4 month old baby sister cries in her crib.

"Damn it Nicoli, were you supposed to be watching Sabrina?" I mind-linked as I picked up the crying baby from her crib.

"Why do you always bother me when I'm having sex?!" he snapped back and I heard Colette moan.

"Watch your tone with me!" I roared back aloud, being loud enough for him to hear me, letting my wolf take over for a moment, and I heard him and Colette both separate and scramble to find clothes. On that note I smirked and went to find Sabrina a bottle. A few minutes later I was glaring at my brother and his mate. I hated her and hated him for rubbing his happiness in my face.

"My apologies alpha," Colette whimpered to me.

"Guys I'm not mad, I'm just worried about when I'm gone," I replied setting Sabrina back in her crib now that she was sleeping.

"Sammy it won't happen again, I promise you baby sister," Nicoli said pulling me into a hug, "and i don't mean to rub it in your face, it's just when you find your mate you just want to be as close as possible to them all the time, I'm sorry Sammy."

"It's alright bubba, I'm going to bed," I said as I pulled away and headed up the stairs.

"Tomorrow's the day," my wolf squealed, "we're gonna find mate at university, I can feel it."

"I hope so Abby..." I replied as I drifted into a fitful sleep.

"SAM!!!!!!!!!!" was all I heard as I was thrown from my bed the next morning.

"What-what time is it?" I growled as I rubbed my eyes.

"It is five after nine in the morning Sam, you need to get ready, your plane leaves in two hours." Sean told me as he quickly grabbed Leah.

I just sat there and stared at them, the two people who mean the most to me, the two people who I love more than anything in the world, and I was about to leave them in hopes of finding my other half.

"Ohmygod I'm gonna miss you guys so much," I said as I burst into tears, I don't normally cry so this was a big deal.

"Oh Sam!" Leah cried as she dropped down to the floor with me and we just sat there hugging and cried for like half an hour.

"Sean," I sniffled, "Can you take my stuff down to the truck while I take a shower?"

"Sure I can babycakes," he said planting a kiss on top of my head.

I took off to take my shower and didn't bother with make-up because I knew I would end up crying again, and the. headed downstairs.

"Oh Samantha!!" my mom cried as she wrapped me in a hug.

"I promise I will be back for Christmas mom," I told her trying to hold back the tears.

"Baby dad got this to give to you before you left, I wanted to make sure you got it," she as she put a necklace on my neck and handed me a letter from my father.

"Oh momma," I whispered as I held my breathe and opened the letter...
