Camp Half Blood. August 5, days after the war with Gaea.
Morning. Hooray. Sunlight streamed through the cabin window. Percy sat up in his bed, groaning. The Poseidon cabin shone with green and blue colors, reflecting off of the fountain his father gave him. As he sat up, his blanket fell from his body, and his blue shirt with Ariel from The Little Mermaid was shown. He yawned and stretched, while turning his head to look at the clock. 7:32. Percy huffed and got out of bed, stretching. As he got out of bed, he pulled his boxers down, since they had started to ride up on him. Percy's muscles were still sore after the war with Gaea, but they were now slowly starting to heal. He slowly paced over to his dresser, opening a couple drawers so he could put clothes on. Last time he walked out his cabin half naked and wearing boxers, Annabeth and Nico avoided him for two days, saying his behavior was "childish" and "perverted". As a bonus, he got slapped by Jason saying that Percy was going to scar that campers with his body. Pfft. They are just jealous of all this. He stared lazily at his shirts, looking for his favorite navy blue one that Annabeth also liked. He dug around for a while until he gave up. He turned around and bent down to grab his second favorite light blue shirt. Percy threw it on, then picked up and pair a basketball shorts from the floor and pulled them up his legs until the shorts fit snugly on his waist. He walked around his cabin for a while, looking for his sweatshirt Annabeth got him a couple weeks ago when he heard a frantic knock on his door. Before Percy could muster a "Come in," Jason and Nico burst through the door, out of breath and clearly freaking out. "What the fuck guys?" Percy said, glaring at the two. "I could of been naked when you dumb butts just decided to barge in." Jason grumbled a quick sorry and Nico just stood their and rolled his eyes. Nico spoke. "We need you down at the courtyard. We are helping to oversee breakfast preparations for the Greeks and Romans, remember? You promised you wold help us." Percy's mouth formed a small "O" as he recalled the memory. He laughed nervously. "Oh yeah! Don't worry guys, I would never forget something that important!" he said anxiously. Truth be told, Percy couldn't afford to make the Greeks and Romans mad unless he wanted to start another war. Jason smiled. "Then let's go already!" he pulled Percy and Nico by the arm, causing Nico to mutter some curse words. Jason pulled the two boys until they both lashed out from his grip and walked along side him. The only reason the Romans were visiting was because a huge music festival would be going on in two days. Both Greek and Roman children and teens would prepare anything music related, whether it be a music video, montage, solo/duet/trio/group of singing and/or dancing, and some groups wold make tributes to others, living or deceased. Some cabins even teamed up, like the Athena and Aphrodite cabin. Percy was envious of his girlfriend because she had such a great singing voice but Percy really didn't. But he was also proud of her, because this would be Annabeth's first time going on stage and facing her stage fright. Percy smiled as he remembered the conversation her had with Annabeth earlier of the subject. Nico interrupted his thoughts. "What in all things Hades is that?!?!" he yelled, mouth agape at the sky. Jason looked up at the scene unfolding, and so did Percy. Jason gasped and muttered a quick "Shit," while Percy raised an eyebrow. A comet of some short rippled through the sky, making occasional twists and turns. But it couldn't be a comet, because, well, science. Comets, first off, are not blue (at least Percy thinks that) and comets don't make loops because, well, gravity. Percy tore his gaze from the blue thing and looked at the campers around him. Almost all of the campers were freaking out, except Annabeth, Percy noted, who was sitting on a bench, her face was down in a book. Of course, thought Percy. A daughter of Athena reading during a maybe substantial crisis? Yeah, makes sense. All of a sudden, in a blink of an eye, the blue flying thing swooped down and landed right in the middle of the training field. No one got hurt because all of the demigods previously their had fled thanks to the flying thing out of panic. Everyone slowly eased their way towards the thing, and it turned out that it was... a girl??? Everyone gasped. Someone screamed. Nico stood beside Percy and was silent. Percy couldn't read his face. Was in anger, surprise, disgust? Something else? Percy looked back at the girl. She started to get up, taking her time. When she was fully standing up, Percy's eyes widened. The girl was wearing a flowing skirt that seemed to change color from blue to purple to silver. Her black shirt just barely covered her chest (it reminded Percy of a strapless bikini.) The mysterious girl had dark chocolate hair (not as dark as Hazel's, though) that transitioned to light chocolate brown. Her eyes were dark pools of cocoa. She straightened and as she did, beautiful white angel wings were spread. Everyone gasped again. Was she an angel? Percy thought. The girl looked around and muttered something he couldn't hear. Will Solace, being the friendly one, walked up to her and smiled his signature 'son of Apollo' smile and opened his mouth. "Hello!" he said. "I'm Will, and this here is the wonderful Camp Half Blood. What is your name?" She looked taken a back from his welcome, but introduced herself never the less. "My name is Nicolette Embiatris." she smiled at Will. "Nice to meet you."
I have writer's block. Can you, my dumplings, give me some ideas?
