-Darcie-

"Watch out for bacon and syrup popcorn. I'll be expecting some when you get back." I said down the phone to Steven as I walked down the street to find my car after work.

I got my license only four months ago, but for my seventeenth birthday, Steven gave me some money towards a car. It's not the dream car anyone wants, but it gets me from A to B, so it'll do until I get a proper job.

"You're gross, you know that?" He replied, laughing. "Darce, I've gotta check into the hotel now. Can I call you later?"

I continued walking, the only light coming from the streetlights above me, as it was so dark already. I had an evening shift after school at the local coffee shop, and had to stay late to ensure that the place was clean and locked up properly.

I sighed to myself. "Okay. I'll call you later then. Bye." I hung up the phone and slid it into my little side bag, and began digging around for my car keys afterwards.

As I found them, I pulled them out of my bag quickly- a little too quickly, though, as they sipped out of my hand and made a small clattering noise as they hit the ground. "Crap." I muttered.

As I bent down to pick up my keys, I felt something hit my ass. Or rather someone. I turned and faced a man, no older than his mid twenties, smirking in my direction. I frowned at him, unsure of what to say.

"What the....hey, fuck off." I said eventually, putting on a tough front. He chuckled, clearly aware that I was anything but brave at the moment. "Who are you?"

"Doesn't matter who I am. What matters is what I want." He said, with a toothy grin.

I gulped, reaching my arm behind me to open my car door. "I don't think so, sweet cheeks." The guy said, as someone else grabbed a hold of my arm. I gasped and felt myself being pulled away from my car.

"Get...get off me." I spat, as the second guy began dragging me over to the first guy. He eventually let go of my wrist, and they stood either side of me, leaving no opportunity to escape.

"What do you...what do you want?" I stammered, feeling my pulse rate rise rapidly.

"What have you got?" Guy number two said, pushing against the back of me. I could feel his breath against my auburn hair as they both gave a chuckle to eachother.

"He asked you a question." The first guy said, pulling something out from his back pocket. As the light from the nearest streetlamp bounced off of it, I could see that he was now holding a gun. With my eyes fixed to it, I next to whispered a reply.

"I...I have my bag, my...car, my cell...just...what do you want? Please, you can...you can take anything you want." I said, feeling incredibly afraid and vulnerable.

"Whatever I want?" Guy one said. I nodded frantically, trying my best to avoid annoying him so the gun wouldn't come my way.

His eyes looked me up and down, and when they landed back onto my face, he smirked again at me, before charging forwards and pushing me back, into the second guy's arms.

I let out a scream, but it only became muffled as his hand clamped tightly over my mouth. I tried to kick my legs as I was dragged backwards, but remained still as the guy who was holding me pulled out a knife from the inside of his jacket.

Several tears escaped my eyes as I shook underneath the man, accepting my fate.

The first guy walked infront of me and reached out for the button at the top of my jeans. I tried kicking him away again as I whimpered under the hand over my mouth, but the second guy only pressed the knife to my throat, making me dead still.
