Truth Or Dare!

Chapter eight

The whole night after the party i kept tossing up and down in anxiety,
I am definitely going to unravel whatever it is my parents are keeping from me.
"Dorky,  i want to introduce you to my friends " stalker said as we got to the cafeteria dragging me to where the boys are. "Guys, i want to officially introduce dorky bella, bella, this is harry, austin and dave"
"dorky!! You are the one who's stolen leo from us, right?" austin said as he ate his fries.
Oh boy! I guess my new nickname won't be leaving me anytime soon.
I jabbed stalker in his tummy, "dorky.. huh.. you had to add that"i said before turning to the boyz "I'm really innocent, stalker was the one who ran away" i said smiling as Harry shifted a chair, "Come on, sit with us"
"thank you"
Stalker sat beside me and soon we were all talking, laughing and making jest of each other.
Is anyone noticing me transforming into a serious noise maker..... Or maybe its my real self surfacing... I'm  breaking out of my shell...
When it was almost time for the next class, we said goodbye and dispersed, I and Harry had chm171.
Now is a good time to start my investigation.
"Bella..." harry called "Yeah"
"sorry to ask but are you adopted?"
"No! why did you ask?"
"Nothing, i just thought you were 'cos i noticed you are not close with your parents... at the party... yesterday"
"Oh! I'm just not close with them.. Speaking of which, do you know anything about the relationship between your parents and mine"
"Business partners, i suppose... Although i noticed tensi.... sorry i shoul.. "
"nah, its okay... I noticed the tension or more of hate too" he held the door as i walked into the class and went to my normal seat in the third row in the lecture theater. "do you think they fought, maybe bad deal or something?" i continued.
"don't think so 'cos my parents don't go for deals until they are certain it's perfect" he said as we sat together.
I think i saw two friends stare daggers and maybe a few bullets at me before i sat.
"hmmm, i'll make sure to find out 'cos i really love your parents and i want my parents to see how nice they are and like them too" i said...
Okay.... that almost sounded like a girl trying to make her parents love the future in-laws.
"Can i ask a personal.. okay i already asked one but can i ask another?" Harry said looking as the class continued to fill up.
"sure!"
"do you like Leo?"
"hmmm, well.... I don't know if we are friends or not, but he's a really nice person"
"Okay... " he was about to say something else but the lecturer entered the class and started the lecture.

After school,
Leo and I strolled slowly to my normal pickup point. I knew he had something to say, the way he kept twisting his hair, going back and forth.
"say it" i finally said.
"huh?"
"you have something to say don't you? Say it"
"umm.. Bella..."
When last has he called me Bella... Its nice.
"Bella, our... 'thing', what do you think it is?"
"What 'thing'?"
"I mean... our relationship"
"I don't know what it is.... you tell me"
He sighed
"Okay, am using every last piece of courage to say this... Bella,will you date me?"

The week felt so long as i had semi- sleepless night thinking of what stalker asked. I haven't given an answer yet so we agreed to go on a date on saturday.
Saturday is finally here...
I got dressed in a white shirt with black butterfly motif and a pink jacket, a  black skinny jeans and sneakers. Curled my hair a little and packed it into hasty ponytail, after adding a coat of strawberry lip balm. Dom took me to front of school, that's where we planned to meet that day. I was ten minutes late when i got there. As Dom parked i saw a guy facing the opposite direction wearing casual polo shirt, white skinny trouser and all stars.

I got down and walked up to him, "hey" he turned and i froze.
Oops! Not Leo
"sorry, i thought you were someone else" i said as i stepped back.
"oh no problem! Actually that 'someone else' sent me to you.... He said he's sorry some issues cropped up so i should take you to eat and drop you home" he said and grinned.
My spirits dropped a bit....
First date and i'm already getting stood up.
"Anyways, my name is charles"
"Am..."
"Bella" he said as he casually put his arm on my shoulder.
"Sorry... i'm not..." i said quietly as i wiggled out of his arm and he smiled. I forgot my phone at home 'cos of how nervous i was so i made a mental note to call stalker when i get home.
Charles took me on his power-bike, went to a park i didn't know exist and had picnic. Charles is so much like Leo, dark hair but brown eyes, pale tiny lips and funny.
"But why are you not in NU" i asked.
"well, i am... you just don't notice me"
"if you and Leo are friends, why don't you hang out with him or the boyz?"
"..... what's with the interrogation!! did i do anything bad? Or am i kidnapping you?"
"Sorry, am always like that..... asking questions" i said and faced down.
"hey, i wasn't angry... just...... it was funny the way you kept asking" he smiled.
Around 6pm in the evening, he drove me back to the school... Where Dom was already waiting to take me home.
When i got into my room, my  phone was ringing but stopped before i could get it..... 
165 missed calls.... What the heck!! From Leo, Harry and two other unknown.... am guessing...
The phone rang again.... Leo,
"Hello"
"Thank God!!.... (he sighed)... Bella where the hell have you being!"
