"Hey Y/n, over here!" You heard someone calling your name as you turned around, it was your sophomore year in college, attending Tokyo University. You smiled as your friend, f/n, ran up to you. You had met her last year and were dorm-mates, and had grown quite fond of her.

"Hey f/n, what's up?" You asked her as she finally caught up to you, heaving as she did so. She looked like she needed to tell you something important.

"So...y'know how we got that new student that transferred from whatever that college's name was?" She asked as I tilted my head, she had talked about this the other day on the phone, it was quite uncommon for someone to be able to transfer colleges, so of course, you were interested.

"Yeah I remember you telling me about that, what's up with it?" You asked as her eyes lit up. She was definitely ready to tell you something, it was practically radiating off of her.

"So he went up to me after class today...and he asked if I knew who you were!" She squealed as you scrunched your eyebrows together in confusion, he had asked about you? But you had never met this person, how odd.

"But get this...it's your high school sweetheart Y/n!" She squealed after a gasp of breath as your eyes widened. You had told her about your high school sweetheart, or in other words, boyfriend. You both decided to break up after you had realized you were both going to different colleges.

"So I gave him your new apartment address and—" She was going to continue on as you stopped her.

"Wait, what?" You asked, your voice getting pretty high, "You gave him my address?" You shook your head in disbelief as she nodded proudly.

"You never really told me how cute he was, he was so adorable y/n-chan!" She squealed as she bounced up and down, your cheeks turning red. She was definitely talking about Nagisa, he sorta left that effect on girls.

"It's okay I guess, hey, don't you have class soon?" You asked your friend as her features went pale.

"Oshiete!" She screamed in English as she looked down at her phone screen, and dashed off in the direction she came from, still yelling about how it was cute as her voice got quieter and quieter with the distance.

You giggled to yourself at your kawaii friend as you continued to walk home, you were about two minutes away from the college, being done with your classes for the day.

It didn't take long before you had gotten a bit hungry, in fact it took ten minutes of walking to convince you, so you went ahead and stopped inside a little cafe about two minutes away from your apartment.

When you stepped inside, the sweet aroma was so appealing as you could practically taste the paninis with the smell alone. You smiled as you walked up to the counter, ordering a panini sandwich and a water to drink, as you waited on your to-go order, you never really ate inside of you were by yourself, unless you were studying.

Once your order was ready, you grabbed your food and headed off towards your apartment, sipping the water out of the straw from time to time since you had nearly been dying of thirst from earlier.

When you had finally reached the apartment building you sighed in relief, it was only about a fifteen minute walk from there to the school, which didn't bother you at all, you needed the exercise.

You walked inside the lobby and greeted the doorman, before going inside the elevator and hitting the fourth floor button, as the doors to the elevator closed and you ascended.

When you stepped off the elevator and finally looked up from your phone, being about at the point where your apartment was, you totally didn't notice the blond haired man sitting at your apartment door as you gasped, the phone falling out of your hands and landing on his sleeping face.

He was immediately woken up by this action, looking up at you and smiling sheepishly.

"Guess you never really look up from this thing anymore do you?" He chuckled as your jaw dropped, what was Nagisa doing here? You hadn't really given it too much thought before, but what in the world was he doing here attending Tokyo University at all?

"N-Nagisa! Sorry! Here let's get you inside they keep it so cold in the hallways, I'm so sorry!" You apologized and quickly unlocked the door, pushing it wide open as you had forgotten he was stil sitting up against the door, so when you pushed it open, he fell backwards.

"Sorry sorry sorry!" You pleaded with apology as your face was a deep color of red, while he was rolling around on the floor, laughing loudly as he got up, going into your apartment.

You shut the door behind you as he set your phone on the kitchen island, and you walked over and placed your food on the island as well, putting your backpack by the door and your textbooks on the table by the door.

"Wow Y/n-chan, you never really changed did you?" He asked as you noticed he had changed a bit, for his voice had gotten a bit deeper and it caused you to blush like crazy.

"Well it's just so unexpected!" You stammered as you placed your jacket on the coat hanger, and took off your shoes by the door, the less cleaning you had to do, meant the less stress you had.

He was walking around your apartment somewhere while you were doing that and called you from somewhere in the apartment, you only assumed it was your bedroom.

"Y/n-chan!" He said a bit louder, he never really changed either. You laughed silently to yourself as you were grinning like an idiot, your heart fluttering as you tried to contain it.

You walked into your bedroom as you saw him holding up a picture frame for him to see it better, "You kept this picture Y/n-chan?" He giggled as he set it down, "That is so cute."

Your mouth gaped open in horror as you figured out which one he was looking at, it was a picture of you and Nagisa on your third year anniversary, senior year, before the split and problems happened.

To say you were heartbroken at the time was a bit of an understatement, you were devastated once you found out he was going somewhere other than Tokyo University, where you had gotten a scholarship. He had gotten a scholarship somewhere better and closer to home, so he went there with Rei instead, you felt like he picked his friend over you, and you understood. But it still hurt, throwing away three years.

It still pained you, but you kept him close to your heart anyways. Probably because you denied the fact that you would ever fall in love with anybody else, which was the mindset you still had. Why? Because you were still in love with him, and you always would be.

"Of course I kept it, why wouldn't I?" You asked softly as he just shrugged his shoulders.

"I-I thought you hated me Y/n." He frowned as you saw the sadness in his eyes.

"N-No! I could never hate you Nagisa!" You smiled as he did as well, feeling better.

"Do you...miss what we had Y/n?" He asked as he still gazed at the picture, as you were taken aback by the picture.

"I don't think I'll ever get over someone like you Nagisa." You shrugged because you were being honest, one of the qualities you loved about yourself.

"Good, because that's why I came back." He laughed as he hugged you, you were utterly confused, yet happy at the same time.

"What do you mean Nagisa?" You asked, your voice muffled since your face was buried into his broad chest, that had changed as well, now he was much more buff, and a bit taller as well. Kinda like Makoto.

"Who ever said your high school sweetheart can't be your lifetime sweetheart?"
