You sighed as you looked back up at the front of the classroom, trying your best to focus, even though it was really hard with such an attractive student sitting next to you.
His name was Makoto, and he came from Iwatobi. You were both training to teach people, except you wanted to teach children in their first year of elementary, he was going to make a living off of teaching kids to swim and holding swim meets, which didn't sound too bad of a plan.
It was only your first year in college though, so you had to take the basic courses as well. This was World History, the course you chose instead of Japanese History.
You looked over at him once more, he had olive brown hair and vibrant green eyes, quite mesmerizing in fact.
You couldn't resist, you grabbed your phone and slowly turned it to where the back camera was facing towards him as your thumb inched towards the big circle, that you just had to press and the picture would probably be golden. You looked up at him as you noticed he wasn't looking.
...and dropped your phone.
"A-Ah!" You gasped silently under your breath as the class continued on, nobody affected by your outburst except Makoto, who was looking over at you. "Sorry to bother you." You murmured while looking back down at your phone, it was probably best to wait before you took the picture now.
"Were you taking pictures of me?" He asked in a cocky whisper as your cheeks flushed, busted.
"N-No!" You whisper yelled back, avoiding eye contact at all costs.
"I saw the camera flash come on..." He raised an eyebrow back as you fumbled to get the phone back in your hand, flipping up the lock screen as you gazed at the lightning bolt in the upper left hand corner.
"Hey...the camera flash isn't on!" You protested as he chuckled.
"I was just teasing y'know." He winked as your face turned red once more, as you put your phone back on the table, muttering some foul things underneath your breath as he snickered.
"Here, let me give you my phone number, you're the first friend I've made here." Makoto shrugged as you grinned like a child, nodding your head up and down as he put his hand out. You fumbled a bit, but unlocked your phone and placed it in his hand, letting him put in his contact information. "Also, I'll put in my address since it'll be easy to find me if I don't answer my phone." He smiled as you gazed at him, confused as he chuckled nervously, "My old friends did that often." He explained as you nodded your head, and got your phone back from Makoto, looking at his information.
"No way! You live in the same complex as me! Actually...it looks like you live right across the hall." You shrugged as his eyes lightened up. "Woah woah woah! Don't get any ideas!" You whispered as you proceeded to scold him, as he shook his head.
And sooner than later, the last class of the day had finished. You and Makoto were some of the last ones to leave since you sat so far up, slinging your (f/c) backpack over your shoulder, as you walked with him out of the building.
"Y/n, do you mind if I walk home with you?" He asked as you shook your head, telling him it was fine as his eyes seemed to sparkle upon you saying that. "Thank you, it's very hard to go to college without all of my friends being here." He rubbed the back of his neck as you chuckled.
"I grew up in a rural area, so I attended school then came home to study, and that's all I ever did, so this college friend thing is new for me as well." You shrugged as he gawked at your sentence.
"You didn't have any friends in high school? Boyfriends?" He asked as you shook your head.
"I'm a free independent woman who don't need no man!" You huffed as you crossed your arms, sticking your chin up high as he laughed.
"You remind me of Nagisa so much, but Rei and Haru at the same time, a little bit of Gou and Rin, maybe some Sosuke." He muttered as he then blushed, "Sorry, I was thinking out loud." He laughed as he apologized.
"No biggie." You replied casually as you arrived at the apartment complex.
"Hey, do you mind coming in for a little bit? I still need help unpacking." He shrugged as you nodded, technically he could have something up his sleeve, but you doubted it.
You stepped into his apartment to see it so...empty. He had two beanbag chairs in his living room, along with a small television. He had a small kitchen off to the side, which was unsurprisingly full with food, and when you walked around, you saw that his bedroom was fine, except for the clothes he needed to put up, and miscellaneous decorations.
"You really must have lived far away if you couldn't take any furniture from home, huh?" You asked as he tilted his head.
"More or less, I lived in Iwatobi." He shrugged as he sat down on the edge of his bed, beginning to fold clothes and put them in drawers and helped him.
It didn't take very long to do, but he thanked you for helping him out anyways as you grabbed your backpack, about to leave as he suddenly reached out for your wrist and stopped you.
"Ah, Y/n...I really would, like to get to know you better." He confessed as your cheeks turned a faint shade of red, as you pecked his cheek, his face turning red as well.
"I'd love to get to know you better as well Makoto, even if you are my stalker." You added onto it as his eyes widened.
"Hey! I'm not your stalker, if anything, you're my stalker!" He whined as you giggled.
"That's exactly what a stalker would say."
