Lona: I think we should ask the woods for help. The natural magic here might help us, if only there were elves with us here

Yellow pixie: We can certainly try and if your theory is right, Garnel can help us more than I thought. He is part elf..

They nodded, and all started beckoning the forest to expel the dark magic from itself, Noire did his best to help

It was working to a degree, but it put a great strain on the pixies. They were breathing heavily and the tendrils were still clutching their visitors

They were beginning to get frustrated, when help came in the form of Garnel. The old man was considerably larger than the rest, being part elf, and more in tune with nature

He was of the same mind as Lona and his presence gave his fellow pixies an added boost in spirits. With all of them using their magic to make the forest dispence of the dark forces, they finally succeeded, the visitors dropping to the ground like rag dolls

They hurriedly dragged them into one of the houses to rest

Ever woke up drained, and was astonished to find a yellow haired pixie with twinkling hazel eyes gazing at her

Pixie: Finally awake, I see

Ever: What happened

Pixie: You died, and I am to be your guide

Ever narrowed her eyes at him: I'm very much alive sir, where are my friends

Pixie: What friends? We only found you

Ever: I am certain you also found my friends. Again, I ask, where are they?

Pixie: I don't know what you're talking about

Ever: Perhaps this will rejog your memory

Even feeling worn, she summoned a small blade and aimed it at the annoying pixie

Pixie: Tut tut.. Is that anyway to treat your saviours? Relax, your companions are fine. You really are no fun

Ever sagged on the bed: While I appreciate you saving us, I don't appreciate your constant teasing, knowing the situation we were in

He shrugged: You can't expect us not to have fun, bad enough you spoiled it for us when we had to save you

Ever ignored what he said: I'd like to see them

Pixie: You will in a short while. They are resting right now as you should be doing

Ever gave in reluctantly: Would you tell me your name, please?

Pixie: Norland, and yours?

Ever: Ever

Norland: A beautiful name for a beautiful lady, I must say, you are quite unique for a fae

Ever replied dryly: Thank you sir, now I'd like to see anyone who's in charge

Norland: You might as well talk to me

Ever sighed: What happened?

Norland: That hulk of a Fae, he said his name was Noire. It doesn't go well with his appearance though, he's not dark of color

She gave him a pointed look

Norland: Anyway, he came to us frantic, asking for help, saying Prince Barthelomeo and his companions were in danger. We followed him to find an alarming sight. All of you were wrapped in tendrils of black magic. You looked pale and frail. One of us suggested we get the forest's help to expel the dark magic. With your friend's help, and one of us who's part elf, we were able to do just that, but we had a hard time doing so. Just who did you anger?

Ever: We are forever in your debt, for saving the prince and the mage ambassedors

Norland: The human mages.. I guess this is what caused the attacks. Someone really doesn't want an alliance with them..

Ever: It appears so

Norland: That wasn't smart, travelling only with such a small number of guards

Ever: Travelling with a large number could have caused more problems as well, it might be read as if we have no trust in possible allies

Norland: They would have understood

Ever sighed, she knew he was right, but she couldn't very well tell him that they were facing opposition within their ranks, and they weren't allowed to have more guards

Norland: This level of dark magic is very strong.. It appears that there is another alliance being formed against yours, including dark Fae

She hung her head, she couldn't refute what he said

The pixie apparently had enough of serious talk just then, because he inturrepted her wallowing

Norland: Well, pretty Fae, it's time for you to be reunited with your loved ones, shall we?
