~Your POV~

After a few more minutes of waiting, a guy eventually made his way into the Exhibit. I took a defensive stance, and set my hands on fire with a golden flame. We kind of just stared at each other for a while, anticipating who would make the first move.

Until I got a good look at the guys jacket, I froze, "Y-you... You w-work f-for--" I couldn't finish my sentence.

"Daylin Dasli? Yeah, what's it to you?" He thought for a second. "Oh yeah! You're that [Y/n] girl that the boss told me about! He told me you escaped a little while ago..!" He grinned.

"Stay back!" I warned, putting my fist in front of me defensively.

"A rebellious one you are," He just closed his eyes calmly, folding his arms across his chest.

He stayed like that for a little while, until he opened his eyes again. But they were different, the once green orbs were now a crimson red.

"Wh-what are you?!" I yelled.

"That's not something of your concern," he replied demonically. "Now is it?"

I could see the sudden thirst for blood in his eyes. It was nerve racking, I was now a little on edge, waiting for him to strike. I held my ground, but it felt like no time at all was passing by.

~Natsu's POV~

"Why are you here Daylin? What do you want?" I sneered.

"Why all tense? Relax! I'm not going to do anything to you," He gave me another impish grin.

I was confused, "What do you me--" I thought about it more, and I was now mentally panicking. "[Y/n]... What did you do to her?!"

"Nothing of the sorts..! One of my henchmen went after the other stone," he laughed.

Stone? What stone? Then I remembered the Goddesses Stone. I slowly stepped back, as I reached backwards for the display case the stone was in.

"Backing away already? I must be more intimidating than I thought!" He boasted.

I felt the glass against my hand, "You know, you're a little to cocky," I stated with a smirk on my face as I opened the case, grabbed the stone and ran in the other direction.

I could here Daylin's footsteps behind be, these stones must be pretty valuable. I kept running, not bothering to look back, I had to make sure [Y/n] was okay!

I looked back for a few seconds just to see if Daylin was still following me, until I collided with someone. We both fell down and opened our eyes.

"Natsu! Thank god it's you! Do you have the Goddesses stone?"

"[Y/n]! You're okay! And yeah, I got it," I held out the stone in front of me.

She sighed in relief, "Good, I have the Dragon's Eye," she held up a red stone that looked just like the one in the picture I saw. But I noticed her words were a little shaky.

"Hey, you alright?" I asked.

"Yeah, I'm fine..." I then noticed a stream of blood flowing down her arm.

"Oh my god! [Y/n]! What happened to your arm?!" I ripped a piece of my pant sleeve fabric off and held against her wound.

"I just got cut by a knife, it's fine. We have to get these stones out of here," she tried to stand up but fell back down.

"A knife?! No [Y/n] that isn't fine! We have to get you to a--" I was cut off by a glowing light.

I looked down to see that my guild mark was glowing a bright red color, and [Y/n]'s was glowing [f/c]. What is this?

I picked up the Dragon's Eye and looked into it, [Y/n] did the same with the Goddesses Stone. We both placed the stones onto the ground and the glow went away.

"What the--" I started, but then heard the most menacing laugh in my entire life.

"So, you've figured it out did you?" Daylin and his minions {no not from the movies} had walked up to us, smiling like idiots.

"Figure out what?!" I yelled, now standing in front of [Y/n] protectively.

"Really? So just by that glow right there, you couldn't tell that those stones are connected to you two?"

"Connected? How?" [Y/n] asked.

"A long time ago, in the ancient times, there were two rulers of Fiore. [n/n]ella, the Goddess. And Natsulo, the Warrior of the earth. The two ruled Fiore for ages upon ages, until eventually, a war had started. They lead their knights and angels into battle against the Great Daylion! They won the war, and sealed away the evil, but died in their final acts. And two stones were made from their souls: the Dragon's Eye and the Goddesses Stone. You two are the reincarnations of the mighty hero's! And those stones are your souls! If the one that belongs to you breaks, you'll die..!"

We stood there in shock at what we just heard. There's no way that that's true!

"Also, those two stones are said to be two pieces of the same stone. So they do fit together, but one must sacrifice their life in order to complete the process of destroying evil,"

Is this all true? There was just no way that me and [Y/n] are the early versions of Ancient Hero's! This was just all to much to take in!

"Why are you telling us all of this? You could've turned those rules against us!" [Y/n] yelled, still gripping her arm trying to stop the bleeding.

"Because it'll make for a way more interesting battle," And with a snap of his fingers, they were gone.

We were still a little taken aback at the news we hand just found out. The I heard [Y/n] stand up, "We better go and find Happy and [E/n] and tell them that the "thieves" left," she suggested.

"Right," I agreed, then we walked to the Mesopotamian Exhibit.

When we got there, we found Happy and [E/n] guarding the main entrance to the Exhibit. "Halt! We can't let you pass!" They whisper yelled in deep voices.

"No, but you can come home with us and sleep," [Y/n] smiled.

"Did you guys catch the thugs?"

We nodded, but we didn't tell them what we had found out. "Yeah, so Happy, do you think you could carry these stones in your bag?" [Y/n] asked, holding out the Dragon's Eye and pointed to the Goddesses Stone.

"Sure," he replied as he opened his little green bag and placed the two stones carefully inside.

"Thanks, now we better leave a note to the owner that they won't be bothering them anytime soon," she thanked.

We all nodded and went inside the owners office, wrote him the letter, and started walking back to the Train Station.

Every few minutes stopping to tear off another piece of my pant legs to put onto [Y/n]'s cut. And by the time we made it to the Station and could board, my pants were now up to my knees in height.

[Y/n] apologized and said she'd buy me a new pair once we got back. She was just so innocent! I couldn't help but laugh. She really is something, and there's no way I'm gonna loose her again..!
