Darry: Blue, Gold, and Green
Why: Blue and Gold were the colors of his middle school football team, which is where he learned of his skill at football. Green reminds him of his Mother's eyes.
Sodapop: Orange, Yellow, Green and Blue
Why: Orange and yellow are both bright colors, like Sodapop's personality. Green reminds him of a peaceful forest and Blue a calm river or stream.
Ponyboy: Orange, Yellow, and Red (especially Red)
Why: All are the colors of the sunset, and Ponyboy just likes red particularly more.
Johnny: Blue, White, Silver and Gold
Why: Blue and White are nice, hopeful colors to Johnny. Gold is just pretty, and reminds him of the nice poem Ponyboy told him. Silver reminds him of nicer times.
Two-Bit: Red, Yellow, Green, and Black
Why: Red and Yellow remind Two-Bit of Mickey Mouse. Black is a tuff color in his eyes, and reminds him of his switchblade. Green reminds him of his Dad's eyes before he left.
Dally: Pink???
Why: When asked, Dally responded with a very rude gesture, followed by some very rude words. When other sources (Sodapop and Steve) were asked, they claimed that Dally's favorite color was pink, although whether this is true or not remains unknown.
Steve: Silver and Purple
Why: Silver reminds Steve of fixing cars, which is one of his best skills. Evie's favorite color is Purple, and Steve loves when she wears it.
A/N: Okay, so I know it's grammatically incorrect to capitalize all the names of the colors, but I'm sure they feel left out! They're probably thinking "How come we don't get capitalized too?" ;)
