Darry: He would...pretend to hate all the current pop songs but really love them and sing them in the shower.
Sodapop: He would...go to a museum and touch everything, even when the guards tell him to stop. (Especially when the guards tell him to stop.)
Ponyboy: He would...spend his entire class period making up a secret alphabet instead of reviewing for finals.
Johnny: He would...make a mental list of sassy responses for his parents but never use them.
Two-Bit: He would...risk hurting himself for the sake of a pun or joke.
Dally: He would...purposely not shave for a week before a rumble because the stubble would make him look more intimidating.
Steve: He would...be incredibly ADHD and never be able to stay on one topic or finish a story.
