His FanFiction Stereotype (+ Socs!)

For What_up_Dallas. :)

DISCLAIMER: This is for sheer amusement. Trust me, I'm definitely not one to talk about bad FanFics, especially since I have no published multi chapter FanFictions that have an actual plot and stuff. So yeah, no offense to anyone, this is for sheer amusement, and whoever tells you otherwise, YOUR STORY ROCKS, BRO!!!!!!!! ;)

And also, Bob's, Dally's (sorta), and the Socs might be kinda a trigger warning, I guess? Talks about rape.) If it might be triggering, I'll add this: 🍐~Trigger Pear

I'll make the important stuff bold because I rant. A LOT.

Darry: Darry is always abusive. Like seriously, almost all stories have Darry either:
A) Beat Ponyboy
B) Yell at Ponyboy
C) Be some form of a jerk to everyone, especially Ponyboy
D) Brutally neglect Ponyboy
I probably shouldn't get to into this, 'cause I'm a total Darry-lover (Darry is my adopted child, I'LL ALWAYS PROTECT YOU, DAR-DAR!) and I don't want to go into a major rant, but guys, give Darry a break. Darry, a twenty year old, just out of school, Mr. Popular, having a great life, and then suddenly, BOOM! His entire life comes crashing down. His two parents die. BOTH parents, mind you. Suddenly he's stuck paying bills, quitting school, getting TWO jobs, and arguing with Ponyboy. All Darry wants is for Ponyboy to be happy and healthy. When Darry hit Ponyboy, Ponyboy clearly stated that "nobody in his family had ever hit him before." And also, remember the last time Darry hit Ponyboy in the book? Everything that happened? Ponyboy running away for more than a week, Johnny and Dallas dying, the church fire, everything? Yeah, I really doubt that Darry wants THAT to happen again.

Sodapop: Brunette Sodapop??? I'm sorry, last time I checked, Sodapop had "dark blonde hair" that turned a "shining wheat gold in the summer", and "dancing brown eyes". Anyone with brown hair and blue eyes named Sodapop is just Rob Lowe incognito (probably hiding from the paparazzi).

Ponyboy: Ponyboy has the literal worst luck in the world. Whether it's something happening to him or his friends and family, this boy literally has no break. He always ends up either:
A) Having no living family or friends by the end of the story
B) Being abused by Darry, Soda, Steve, or all of the above
C) Becoming Anorexic, Bulimic, suicidal, targeted by a psycho killer, or all of the above
D) Dead
E) Becoming completely ignored by all his friends and family, especially Sodapop, when the main girl character starts dating Soda
Bruh...
Dang, it really is a hard knock life for Ponyboy.

Johnny: Johnny is suddenly talkative??? Remember how Ponyboy said that Johnny "couldn't say boo to a goose."? But now Johnny is suddenly talking back to the cops, shooting insults at Socs, calling Dally out for cheating on him, since when did Johnny get so much courage?

Two-Bit: In all honesty, Two-Bit never really is stereotyped that badly. But I'll try. Two-Bit can be serious too, guys. Like, all FanFics go:
"Ponyboy's dead." Two-Bit said, being serious for the first time in is life.
I'm sure Two-Bit doesn't joke all the time.
...does he?
I guess we will never really know what goes inside the mind of the elusive and most secretive Two-Bit.

Dally: Dally always smokes. I swear. All. The. Time. Ponyboy's the weed-fiend, not Dally. I know that Dally does smoke, but in FanFictions, his is constantly smoking a magical, never ending cigarette. I'm not saying he doesn't smoke. He's addicted to it, just like everyone else who smokes cigarettes, because you get addicted to them. But for Dally, it always goes:
~Dallas lit a cigarette.
~It was a cold night. Dally lit a cigarette.
~"Hey (love interest name), got a cigarette?" Dally asked.
~Hey (love interest name), want a cigarette?" Dally asked.
~"Ponyboy's dead." Two-Bit said, being serious for the first time in is life.
Dally lit a cigarette as he sat in awe.
~Ponyboy's funeral was a sad one. Dallas sat in the back, and although the smoke floating towards the heavens from his cigarette hid his face, you could tell he was crying.
Also, Dally is suddenly nice? Like if he gets a girl pregnant (probably Anna, the 14 year old Curtis sister who is played by Selena Gomez or Ariana Grande), and his daughter walks up to the Curtis front door, Dally's always like, *clears throat*
The adorable little girl stared at Dally with her big, chocolate brown eyes.
"Are you Dawas Winton?"
Dally kneeled down, peering into her eyes and giving her a reassuring smile. "Why yes I am, honey! What can I do for you, darling?"
"You are my Dada!"
🍐Dally burst into tears of joy as he grabbed the little girl in his arms and lifted her up. He had finally found the daughter of the girl he had raped nine months ago. "Oh Kimamaya Lyonia Smathania Winston, my beautiful daughter, I love you!" He cried.🍐
Uh........alright. Who gave Dally peace serum? We know SOMEONE did. Because this is not Dally.
THIS would be Dally:
Dally opened the Curtis front door. "God damnit," He mumbled, before calling out to Darry.
"Darry? It must be Halloween or something. There's a kid at the door."
"You are my Dada!" The little girl exclaimed.
Dally kneeled down so he was at her level.
"We don't have no stinkin' candy, kid, so scram!" And with that, he slammed the door on her face.
Okay, so I can't really speak for how Dally would act, because I'm not S.E. Hinton, but I guessed so...*shrugs*
ALSO BRUNETTE DALLY! Dally has BLONDE hair and BLUE eyes. Anyone else described will be called Matt Dillion in my mind and nothing else. (And make sure to check your Fanfics for a hitchhiking Matt Dillon or Rob Lowe, guys.)

Steve: Steve is suddenly the biggest jerk in Tulsa. I admit that Ponyboy did say that Steve didn't like him, but do you really think that Steve would ever try to physically harm Ponyboy? Steve would never try to hurt or kill Ponyboy. Even if they don't get along, the entire gang is a family, and even if they argue, they all love each other. And for everyone who has Steve constantly insulting Ponyboy in front of Sodapop and Darry, if Darry punched Steve in the jaw when Steve called Darry "All brawn and no brain.", imagine what Darry would do if Steve insulted Ponyboy! Even if Steve's annoying he knows not to mess with an angry Darry!

Marcia: I'm confused. Who is Marcia? Clearly not a character from The Outsiders, right? Oh wait! She's a close friend of Cherry's, Randy's ex, and might possibly be dating Two-Bit! I remember her now! I almost forgot her, because she's never in any FanFics!

🍐Socs: Socs have been turned into evil, lust filled murderers that try to rape everything that moves. Socs are people too. They have families, problems, homework, etc. They don't devote all their free time to running after the main character. They have lives too, guys.🍐

🍐🍐🍐Bob: Bob always tries to kidnap and rape the main character. And he tries to do this everyday.  Every. Single. Day. Is What's-Her-Name Curtis really that incredibly attractive that Bob can't help himself and does this everyday? Like, gosh, can't Bob keep it in his pants for a single day? And since he does it so often, why hasn't the main girl who keeps getting sexually assaulted by him called the cops yet? Just one attempt, and Bob will be locked up forever.🍐🍐🍐

Randy: 🍐While Bob tries to have a child with the main character, Randy cheers Bob on.🍐 Although it's not shown, I'm sure Randy is probably chanting "Forever Alone" inside his head. Poor, forever alone Randy.

Cherry: Cherry is an annoying 'female dog' (Just trying to keep it P-G here, guys.) who constantly tries to lure Ponyboy to break up with the OC. Weird, because last time I checked, Cherry was really nice and absolutely hated all conflict. Huh.

A/N: And that's a rap! Thanks to What_up_Dallas for requesting this. It was really fun to do! :) And sorry for all the extensive and (in some places) kinda unnecessary trigger warnings🍐. I just don't want anyone who had to go through something like that to be triggered. I want you guys all happy and healthy!!!!!! :) ;) :)

Stay Gold, Tucker, Stay Gold.
