***Melanie's P.O.V***

It's safe to say I didn't have a second of sleep last night. Who could sleep in the same bed as a person who is on the run from police for murder? Clearly Harry had no conscience, because he is sound asleep right now, but his hold on me never loosened. He had me in a freaking death grip that had me too scared to breathe. Light snores left his mouth, and it was beginning to get a bit annoying. I glanced at the clock. 9:30. Kendall should be here any minute now.  All I could do was lie there and hope he would return soon and rescue me from what had been the scariest night of my life. Hope was growing dimmer when  I heard a key turning in the lock, followed by the front door swinging open.

"Honey, I'm home!"

A huge smile came onto my face when I heard the familiar sound of my best friend. We'd known each other since pre school, so he knew me inside out and vice versea. Hopefully he would take one step in my room, see Harry, and know to call the police.

"Melanie?" Kendall called.

Kendall's loud voice caused Harry to stir next to me, letting out a groan into my neck. "Melanie, stop talking" he groaned.

"It's my flat mate" I scoffed. My eyes widened when I realised the tone and attitude I just used on Harry. As soon as I scoffed at him, his grip on me tightened if that was even possible.

"What did you say?" he questioned, warning still in his voice. I swallowed the lump in my throat, knowing he had a gun, and I didn't want to be on the recieving end of it.

"Uh, n-nothing." I stuttered out. Harry let out a little chuckle, pleased he got that reaction from me.

"Damnit Melanie! Are you still in bed?" Kendall's voice was closer this time. I peeked over my shoulder to see a smirk on Harry's face. Oh no. Please don't hurt Kendall. Please

"In here!" Harry called. I looked at him, confused to what Harry was planning, but he still had a smirk on his features. Amusement was clear in his green eyes.

"Mel? Do you have a friend o-" He stopped dead in his tracks at the front of my door when he saw Harry. "Oh, uh...hi?" he muttered slightly confused. Kendall scratched the back of his neck, unsure of what to do. "You a friend of Mel?" he asked.

"No. I broke into your house last night, and forced Mel to stay with me actually." Harry chuckled. My mouth dropped open when Harry completely confessed everything, even when Kendall could run and call the police in seconds.

"Haha, very funny!" Kendall scoffed. I glanced at him, and shook my head, too confused and frightened to say anything. "Mel, it's too early in the morning for jokes." His tone had taken on an edge, like he wasn't sure how to approach the situation.

"Oh, I'm afraid it's to joke mate. Is it, Mel?" Harry asked, smirk still clear on his stupid, attractive face.

"No.." I mumbled. Harry then wrapped an arm around my waist and pulled me into him. I cringed and Kendall shuffled on each foot, unsure if this was some sick joke, or a horrible reality.

"Mel...Come here" Kendall signalled, unsure of Harry. Kendall glared at the stranger in his house, whilst Harry just gave a polite yet fake smile.

I quickly shuffled off the bed, glad to be out of Harry's reach, and near Kendall. Kendall wrapped his arms around me in a typical best friend hug, but whispered in my ear "Is this true babe? Seriously" All i could do was nod, afraid on upsetting Harry. I could feel Kendall tense up. Kendall looked me in the eye and fear flashed through his eyes.

We both turned towards Harry, to see him now standing, yet pointing the gun that was once in his pocket, now straight at Kendall. My eyes widened, and tears threatened to spill over my eyes. Kendall being the brave person he was, pulled me behind him, his height blocking my vision from Harry.
