***Melanie's P.O.V***

The sun was shining through the tall trees, causing patchy shadows to scatter the forest ground. Various birds sat amongst the tree branches, all singing their different tunes, making a beautiful melody.
"Melanie, Come over here!" Charlie called. I spun on my heels to see him ushering me towards him. "You can admire the view later Mel, come and check this out!" he smiled. I laughed, but ran over to see what was so important.
"What is it?" I questioned.
"Close your eyes" he whispered. I glanced up at him with a hint of nerves, but I knew I could trust him. "Good," he spoke quitely. I felt his arms wrap around my waist, and he bent his head down so it was resting on my shoulder.
"Do you trust me, Mel?" he whispered.
"Yes" I spoke instantly, knowing Charlie would always protect me. We were only 16, but I was head over heels for this boy, and I knew I could trust him.
"I'm glad!" he chuckled. "Now take three steps forward," he instructed. I hesistated, but he tightened his ho,d on me, in a comforting way, "I'll be right here, the entire time." he assured me. "My arms won't leave you for a second babe, now walk" he whispered.
I did as he said, and he kept his promise, arms never leaving me, and he took every step with me. I smiled at his sweet words that he would whisper in my ear every so often.
"Good girl, now there's a lit step down, but you can do it honey" he soothed. I put my left foot forward slowly, feeling around for the drop. Once I found the edge, I put my foot downwards, until I felt it touch ground again, slightly lower then my other foot. I moved me right leg to join my left, so I was now a whole step down somewhere, but my eyes were still closed.
I felt Charlie jump slightly, landing directly behind me, but his arms remained around my waist, just as he promised. I felt his lips press to my cheek , and I laughed softly. "You're doing really well, Mel. Nearly there" he encouraged me. "Just turn to the left, and walk straight until I say stop, OK?"
I nodded my head, and did as he said. His body was still pressed to my back, as he took the steps with me.
"Aaaaaannnnd...." Charlie mumbled, causing me to laugh, "Stop." he laughed, joining in with me. 'Ok, now you need to duck down slightly, and walk into the..ah..well just walk ahead, but watch your head OK babe?" he asked.
I smiled at his instructions, but obeyed. Charlie joined me instantly. I felt him spin me around, so I was facing the direction we just came from. I was slightly confused, but then felt him pulling me downwards slowly with him, until I was sitting on the ground, my back pressed to his chest, and his arms wrapped around me.
"Open your eyes baby" he whispered in my ear.
I obeyed him, and my mouth instantly hit the ground. We were sitting under a huge hollow hold in a giant tree, a blanket had been layed down, along with a picnic basket. A small river flowed directly in front on us, and the sun was beginning to set, causing the mixed orange, pink, and yellow sky to swirl above us.
