~Lydia's pov~"Lydia, we think you need to marry the Prince Jackson." My father told me. Which made my mother shook her head in disbelief.
"He thinks you should, I did not agree to such ridiculous atrocity!" My mother said sternly. I shook my head in disbelief. "I do not like him at all.." I told them but I was interrupted by my mother. "That's my girl!" I continued my little rant. "I don't want to marry him because I have just met him and I do not know him properly.." "Trust me when I say this, but you don't want to." "Alright, but I don't know why I have to marry him of all people." My father look at me and nodded and then explained to me the reason why.
"Lydia, he is the only Prince out there who is still a bachelor and we need an alliance with Australia. So I thought what a better way to earn it by marrying him." My father tried to explain his point to me and my mother.
"It is a tragedy because I pretty certain he doesn't even rule the entire of Australia, so I am pretty sure we are not going to be gaining anything from them." My mother said to my father and I, in a informative matter.
"What does that mean?" My father asked her. My mother picked up her cup of tea and took a sip of it before answering his question. "I have never seen him past the little islands. Also you must be sick to believe anything that Prince tells you, you have met him once and all of a sudden you are all chummy with him. " she continued to sip on her tea.
I however, was starting to lose my patience with this. "Father, I refuse to marry him." I told him which only caused another lecture.
I got up and left the room, I could hear my father screaming from the other room, ordering for me to come back this instances. However, I continued to run off into the stables and grabbed one of my father's favourite horses and rode off to wherever the paths may lead me, and forget all about what happened back there.
I arrived at a different path which I haven't took before. There were tall lush green trees which match along with the deep green grass. I rode for a couple of kilometres straight down the path, until I saw the hills which look oddly similar to the one outside of Stiles' house. I slowed down a little to take a good look around and appreciate my surroundings. This had to be the same one.
I wondered down and saw Stiles' Manor house. I smiled satisfied with myself for finding a new and quicker way to him. It was as if every path I take, leads back to him.
I rode up to the front door and knocked on the door. I smiled waiting for him to open the door. A few seconds later Stiles opens the door; I was expecting to see him happy and well, however he appeared to have been crying and he also looked sick. "Stiles?" I asked him, he looked up at me which revealed a black eye. I rushed inside and hugged him. "Stiles, what on Earth happened to you? Who did this?" I demanded for him to answer my question. I put my hand to him face and saw he had bruises on his hands and around his neck as if someone tried to strangle him.
Stiles shrugged whilst he was looking down at his feet and playing with his hands. "Stiles? Please tell me." I begged him with a calmer tone to my voice. "I... I... I.." He was stuttering trying to find a way to answer my question.
"Stiles, you know nothing you can say could ever change the way I think of you." I smiled at him hoping to comfort him. He continued to look down at his feet and then took a deep breath.
"It happened in work yesterday... I... Hmm... I was working in the office today and I overheard something which I wasn't supposed to hear which got me almost killed, my best friend, Scott, saved me." Stiles never looked up once whilst he was telling me what happened. I hugged him and just laid in his arms for a while, it was nice and sent chills up my spine, but it was very comforting and relaxing.
"Stiles, it is alright. What did you hear them talking about?" He looked at me and all I could see was how broken he is, which made my heart shatter. "Stiles, you don't have to talk about it if you do not wish to." I told him quickly.
"No, it's fine. I was walking up to tell my boss, I was going to head off home because my shift was over. But when I got there, I heard one of the employees talking about how he is going to lie about something and now he is going to get alot of money and anything he could ever dream of. He turned around and saw me standing there and he had beaten me up for eavesdropping. Scott then came along and he punched them and scared them off." Stiles smiled sadly at me.
"Stiles, I am sorry I shouldn't have forced you to tell me." I apologised and I looked down at my feet and then back at him. "It is alright, you don't need to apologise for anything, you were just simply worried and that is okay. Lydia, I would always tell you anything at the end of the day." He comforted me, he put his hands on my shoulders, which sent a funny feeling going up in my arms.
"Stiles?" I smiled at him. "Yes?" he asked me. "Let's dance." Stiles smiled at me. He took me into the music room and we started waltzing around. I smiled as Stiles twirled me around and into his arms.
"You know even when you are hurt, you are a great dancer." Stiles chuckled at my comment.
"I will dance better in another special occasion." He smiled at me which confused me.
"Such as?" I asked him curiously. He twirled me and then lifted my leg up and he was holding me in his arms. "Like our wedding." He laughed causing me to blush as he then lifted me up and spun around. "You always made me laugh when you blush." Stiles joked at me.
I thought about what he said about a wedding, which reminded me about what happened earlier today. "Lydia?" I looked at Stiles and shook it off. "Are you alright?" I shook my head. "No, I am not really." I told him honestly.
"Earlier today, I met another one of the arrogant annoying bachelors, which I have no idea where on Earth my parents are getting them from. Anyhow, this one was worse than all of them combined, well expect the first one. Well my father is telling me I have to marry the Prince because he is the best opinion and he has a kingdom. But I hate the man, he is arrogant and I have known him for a few hours, whilst my mother knows him and she hates the boy." Stiles simply listened to me and comforted me. "What does you mother think?" he asked me. "She says she is completely against it." He smiled sympathetically at me.
"Maybe you should let your mother fight for you. However, if nothing goes right; you do not give up and fight for what you believe in. I believe everyone deserves love and deserves to be loved, especially you, Lydia Martin. So do not give up and if you ever feel tried and need motivation I am always here for you, you can always fight for me. Lastly do not forget, that if you ever feel tried of fighting, I will always fight for you, Lydia." He told me, I hugged him which suprised him slightly.
"That is the nicest thing I have ever heard." I told him and smiled at him. "Thank you, but I think you it is true." He smiled back at me.
"Stiles? When did Scott return?" he smiled slightly at me. "Yesterday, he was at work all day." I smiled because I had an amazing idea come into my mind.
"What is it?" Stiles laughed. "You only do that evil smile of yours why you have an idea." I laughed at him. "I do not have an evil smile!" I objected.
