~Lydia's pov~I stared at the horrifying doll, I looked around it and noticed that there was a note stuck to the doll's dress. I picked it up and started to read it.
'You really thought you go away didn't you? Ha! You thought wrong. Leave the palace or else I will kill you and every one in it'
I almost scrunched up the paper, but then I got a good idea. I walked down to the lounge to find my mother.
"Mother?" I called her. "Yes, Lydia." I simply gave her the note with the doll. She put on her glasses and began to read the note, her face screwed up as she was reading the note.
"He is back and tormenting you? What is this doll?" She asked me. I took a deep breath and began to answer her question.
"The psycho would always make dolls which looked exactly like me, they all looked like this." I said pointing at the doll in her hands. "He would also make millions of them, not only just me, but some of people I know and love like Allison or even you." While I was telling her, my mother's face didn't change from her state of shock and horror.
"So, what should we do now?" I asked her, she ran her hand through her hair. She sat in silence for a moment trying to think.
"You could leave with Allison and some other guard for a couple of hours." she suggested. "Yes, that's a good idea, I will go and get Allison." I said slightly excited.
"Lydia, stop, before you leave I need to tell you that you will only be out for 2 hours, anything more than, I will get a Chris Argent and his army to find the two of you." She warned me.
"Ok, I promise I won't be out for more than two hours." I promised to her. My mother nodded her head. "And Lydia, I will send off a emissary to send the Argent family a letter, explaining this situation." I nodded my head and left the room
I walked down to my chamber room and went to go and get changed. I got into a simple black dress with a matching cloak to with it.
I got out of my room and wondered off to Gertrude's room, I haven't seen her all day. I knocked on her door, but when I went to knock I realised that the door was already open.
"Gertrude?" I called for her. I walked into the room and saw that there wasn't anyone there. I looked around and there was no sign of her being here for a while.
I went to find Mrs Brown, who was the head of the maids. "Mrs Brown? Do you have any idea where Gertrude may be?" I asked her. Mrs Brown was mopping the floor. "Gertrude left several hours ago. She went to the vet with Mercury." "Okay, thank you." I thanked her and wondered off to Allison's house.
I knocked on her door and waited for an answer. Allison answered the door shortly after. "Hello, so did you get the letter?" I asked her, Allison nodded her head.
"Okay, so where are we going?" she asked me. I smiled at her and she gave me a look like she knew that I was up to mischief.
"Beacon Hills." I told her simply.
"Is Stiles back?" she smirked at me.
"No." I told her. She looked at me with a amused but confused looked. "I just want to go there, but I don't really know why." I told her honestly, Allison nodded her head understanding me somehow.
We got our horses and rode off to the woods; today, I took Prada again. We rode further into the woods. The trees looked beautiful with their individual coloured flowers of pink, purple or white; some trees didn't have flowers, but they still burst with different shades of green.
I enjoyed the fresh breeze, suddenly we heard a loud shouts and a horse crying out. Allison being the warrior she is, she galloped in that direction with her bow and arrow.
I mindlessly followed her, trying to tell her it was a bad idea. We arrived there and what I saw completely shocked me.
There was a horse who kicked a bunch of men in the face, they had a horseshoe-shaped mark on their faces. They were also covered in blood.
However, that wasn't the most shocking thing, Gertrude was on the ground. I saw Elliott running away in the far distance, leaving Gertrude and the horse who was Mercury, to fend for themselves.
Mercury was kicking a good group of what seemed like 10 men. Mercury wasn't stopping, the men started to run off leaving him alone, I instantly ran to Gertrude once I went there. She had a cut on her head on the side of her face which was on the ground.
She also had a massive bruise on her head, she was also unconscious. "Allison, could you help me pick her up?" I called Allison's assistance. She came and helped me up quickly. We took Mercury with us and wondered out of that place.
"Do you have any idea where the hospital is?" I asked in realisation that I forgot where it was.
"Follow me, I used to go there to meet Scott, since his mum works there." She told me guiding me out of the woods and into Beacon Hills. We rode past the markets and past Stiles' house and straight to the hospital. The second we arrived there, we tied the horses and ran in with Gertrude.
"Someone help us!" I shouted for help. Melissa came running with a concerned look on her face.
"Lydia, Allison, what's wrong?" We showed her Gertrude and she called for some help. For some reason I was expecting to see Alex, but then I remembered what happened.
"We are going to take her in and do some check ups, go and take it a seat." she told us, we sat down in the waiting room. I felt restless and started to wonder around, I didn't want to sit down. I accidentally stumbled across a name: Alexander Florence.
