"Elena you know that he is dangerous." His eyes were pleading for me to agree with him.
"You and I both know that I need to do this. It is only fair to him. He doesn't even know I've turned!"
"That's the point Elena! As long as they don't know that your alive you're safe! Why don't you understand that Klaus will kill you?"
"I do understand but we can find a way around-" he cut me off before I could finish.
"No. The answer is no. I won't let you risk yourself again, especially not for my brother."
"Damon I can do what I want! I'm not a child!" By now we were screaming at each other. It's funny to think that only 5 minutes ago we were perfect. It seemed that anytime I brought up Stefan something would go wrong. I knew what Stefan and I had was gone, but I still had to let him know about my choices. The silence in the room was beginning to get unbearable as we stared at each other. Damon broke the never ending silence after taking a step towards me.
"I will not let you physically leave this house." Leaning in closer he whispered "even if I have to chain you up. So if I were you I wouldn't try it." his voice sounded so menacing that it sent shivers down my spine. I shoved him out of the way, using my new found vampire strength. I ran up the stairs and into Stefan's bedroom or at least what used to be Stefan's. His familiar scent enveloped me in a warm embrace. It felt so calm and peaceful. I sat on his bed and slowly pulling the covers over my head. I tried to reminisce Stefan and I a year ago. We were what you could call happy. Now I'm a vampire and Stefan is gone. My friends and family probably hate me. The only person who is still beside me is Damon. Sadly he's the one I seem to push away most. The truth is I need him in my life even if we don't always get along. I need him more than Stefan, Jeremy or hell, even my parents. I won't let him slip away. I can't.
I jump off of Stefan's bed in a flurry and rush to Damon's door. Before opened it I breath in deeply. Damon is sitting at his desk with a glass of bourbon on hand.
"Damon I'm sorry about what I said. I know you were just trying to protect me." I said behind his back.
His seat slowly swiveled around until I could see his face.
"Maybe you should take my advice then."
"Okay but I'm hungry. I wanta learn how to feed." Damon looked at me strangely and I don't blame him. A few weeks ago I would've been appalled by the idea but now it sounds like fun. I need a break from all this insanity.
"You mean you, Elena Gilbert the pacifist, wants to learn how to kill people."
"No not kill them. I want you to teach me how to feed on someone without killing them."
"Are you sure you don't want to try the Stefan diet?"
"That didn't work so well for him did it?"
"Guess not. We can leave anytime. I know the perfect place."
"I'm ready lets go" I have a bad feeling in my stomach but I know I have to learn it sooner or later. If I try and defy my nature I could end up like Stefan. There is no way I would ever do this with anyone else. I simply don't trust anyone else but Damon. When we begin to drive I decide to make conversation because the my own thoughts were starting to drive me crazy.
"How was it for you the first time you fed?" I asked hoping for a genuine answer.
"It was great Elena. Highlight of my life." I should've known he'd give me sarcasm. I sighed and fell back in my seat.
"Why won't you tell me anything?" I asked after a while.
"Why do you have to ask everything?" He returned. I was beginning to get aggravated, so I bit my tongue and tried not to fight with him.
"I'm taking a nap." I declared and flipped onto my side.
"It'll have to be short cause we're about 10 minutes from away."
"Where are we even going?"
"You'll see when we get there."
Before I could answer he reached his hand over to turn on the radio. You Give Love a Bad Name by Bon Jovi came on. Damon tapped his fingers off the steering wheel and I could tell he was enjoying this. So was I for that matter. I liked seeing joy light up his face even if it's only for 3 minutes at a time. After another song was over we came to a stop somewhere without a lot of people around. I excitedly swung open my car door and was engulfed in the smell of salt.

Can you guys guess where they are?
