Walk With Me

The woods were so gentle and quiet in the night. The whole time we walked to our unknown destination I listened intently to the woods. The crickets could be heard, that was a sound that you didn't usually here in town. The whole feeling of the woods comforted me along with Damon's hand that was intertwined with my own. After a little while we came to a little stream that glistened in the moonlight.
"It's beautiful." I whispered.
"This isn't our destination." My eyebrows furrowed in confusion.
But we didn't stop, we just kept walking quietly in each other's company. After a few more minutes Damon slowed down and I lifted my eyes from the ground.

In front of us stood the most beautiful little cottage. It was white and had flowers growing all around it. The cottage fit perfectly among the fairy tale like forest and all I could do was stare.
"Shall we?" Damon asked.
I nodded in response and kept my eyes glued on the magical looking house. The only way I didn't trip and fall was by Damon's direction on tugging gently on my hand. There was a few stairs that led up to the tiny porch where there was a door. It seemed to shine in the night and I was very impressed.

The inside was even more gorgeous. There was unlit candles everywhere and a giant bed in the middle when you walked in. The bed had soft white silk sheets and fluffy pillows that looked as if they were made of clouds. Damon shut the door behind us and I turned to look at him.
"Damon.., it's beautiful." I could tell he was grinning even without the lights.
"If you let me get some light in here it will be even prettier." I laughed shortly and realized how tight of a grip I had on his hand. I released it and watched him walk over the the desk that was a to the left of the bed. Damon pulled out match after match and lit roughly 10 candles. He was right, it was even prettier with the light. I sighed and sat down on the comfy bed.
"Damon why'd you bring me here?"
"To apologize."
"I understand why you were trying to leave." I wasn't mad anymore. Not a trace of anger remained in my body at this point. He came and sat beside me on the bed.
"I forgive you." I said looking into his relieved eyes.
"Good cause I don't know what I'd do if you hated me for the rest of my life." He laughed a bit and I smiled, knowing I could never hate him. I looked up and glanced around the fairy tale room searching for the right thing to say next.
"Damon, I could never be happy with Stefan. He's not my choice. You are." I saw millions of emotions mix in his eyes until they settled on one: love. His eyes were filled with hope, lust, and most importantly love. His lips were on mine in an instant and I relished every minute of it. My hands wound into his hair and his hands cupped my face. The kiss was so gentle yet full of passion and heat. His hands began to roam slowly down my waist and I didn't pull away. Instead I pulled my shirt off and let him lower me onto the bed. His touch was driving me crazy. His icy blue eyes were hungry as they roamed over my body. I slowly lifted his shirt off his head too and ran my hands on his abs. He trailed wet kisses down my neck, stomachs and back up to my lips again. I felt him reach for the button on my pants but he stopped abruptly. I opened my eyes to see his staring back into mine.
"Lena are you sure?" I kissed his lips in response.
The night was one that we'd never forget.
