Rey & Finn: One Shots

Rey was sitting on her bed at the Resistance Base. She had this funny feeling that she just didn't belong here. She felt the pull to go back to her life on Jakku.

"Rey."

Her head jerked up making her see Finn standing in the doorway.

"Hey." She solemnly said making it obvious that something wasn't right.

"Rey, are you okay?" He asked concerned.

"Yeah, I am." Rey told him as she stood up and walked towards him.

"No, you're not okay." He said taking her hands in his. "Something is up. I know it. I care about you so much and I want to know what is wrong."

"I shouldn't tell you." Rey said. She did want to tell him, but she was afraid that he would get mad at her thinking like that. Thinking that she doesn't belong here with the Resistance.

"Have you told anyone what is wrong?" He asked.

"I've told BB-8." She said instantly regretting telling him that she's told BB-8.

"Then why won't you tell me?" He sort of whined.

"Finn, I'm not going to tell you that I don't think I belong here at the Resistance!! I'll tell you when I'm ready!" She yelled quickly realizing that she just told him.

"Wait, you don't think you belong here with the Resistance?!" Finn questioned. "Rey, I care about you so much. I know you belong here. If it wasn't for you, I wouldn't be here. I love you a lot and I'm pretty sure a lot of people here would hate to see you leave. Even I would hate to see you leave. Don't leave. I love you too much." Finn said wrapping his arms around her shoulders, hugging her.

"Wait, you... love me?" Rey questioned as she wrapped her arms around him, hugging him back.

"Yes. I've always loved you."

"I love you too." She said immediately throwing her arms around his neck while pressing her lips to his.

Finn was a little taken back by this, but he kissed her back. He wrapped his arms around her waist.

After a few seconds, they broke apart and leaned the foreheads together.

"Rey, this place, the Resistance, is your home."

"And I'm choosing to stay." She smiled and blushed.

"Good." He stated. "I love you, Rey."

"I know."
