Rey & Finn: One Shots

7:30pm

Rey looked away from the clock and stared out the large glass window. Finn was supposed to be home an hour ago.

The two were living in a apartment in San Diego, California. Rey didn't have a job while Finn was a high-paid businessman who traveled a lot.

Finn was currently on his way home from LA. He was gone for two weeks. He was supposed to be home at 6:30, but he never came home at that time. Now, it was an hour later and he wasn't home.

Rey sat down as a few tears streamed down her cheeks. She was worried about her boyfriend so much right now.

2 hours later...

9:30pm

Rey gave up and walked towards the bedroom that her and Finn shared, went in, laid on the bed, and tried to sleep. It was late and she was tired. Rey closed her eyes and fell into a deep sleep.

Rey woke up, the next morning, to see no one beside her. She sighed and got out of bed. She could smell coffee brewing and pancakes. Rey smiled to herself and ran out of the bedroom.

She saw Finn making pancakes in the kitchen with his back to her.

"Finn." She said, making him turn around and smile. He walked up to her and engulfed her in his arms. She wrapped her arms around his neck and he wrapped his arms around her waist tightly.

"Where were you last night?" Rey asked him.

"I got caught up in work and by the time I realized what time it was, it was too late for me to drive home." He replied breaking apart from her and stealing a kiss from her.

"What matters is that you're safe here with me." She said hugging him again.

"I wouldn't want to be anywhere else." He told her, making her blush.
