Rey & Finn: One Shots

Prom Night

|| this is a modern au at a high school dance ||

"Hey, little Rey of sunshine." Finn said, as he sat down next to the girl who has been sitting on the bleachers the whole time at prom.

"Call me that one more time or I'll tell the whole school that you're not a virgin anymore." She demanded and scoffed. Rey hated school dances. No one would ever ask her to go, but her mother made her go anyway. It always sucked.

"Which isn't true at all." He said, looking at her features. She had light make up on with a long red dress that made her look beautiful as always. He has always had a crush on her, but he was too afraid to ask her to dances. It was their senior year in high school and their last dance of the year, so he had one more chance to ask her to dance or it would be over for him.

"Why are you staring at me like you are in love with me?" She asked, annoyed. He tore his gaze off of her and stood up.

"Rey." He said, motioning for her to stand up which she did with a confused look on her face.

"If you're going to ask me to dance, then it's a no." She said, coldly.

He had a look of hurt on his face. His chance was over. He wouldn't be able to ask his biggest crush to dance. She possible wouldn't ever like a guy like him.

"For Gods sake, quit gazing at me like you're in love with me!" She yelled, lightly slapping his cheek.

"I can smell alcohol on your breath by the way." He said, moving a little closer to her.

"I don't even care if I'm under aged. I still drink and go to bars with a fake ID." Rey said, pridefully.

"Isn't that illegal?" He asked.

"Yeah." Rey retorted, not giving a care in the world.

"You shouldn't don't that." He said, grabbing her hand, making her yank her hand back.

"Look big deal, I don't like it when you act like my fricking parents telling me I shouldn't drink even though I'm under aged and go to bars with a fake ID. I know you have a crush on me too. I can tell by the way you stare at me and blush whenever I speak to you. So, I would love it, if you would just frickin back the f-." She was cut off by Finn grabbing her hips and smashing his lips onto hers.

Rey didn't know what to do for a moment, but she decided to kiss back. As they were starting to make out, some of the people looked at them, surprised. No one had ever thought they would see one of the smartest guys in the school and head of the football team making out with the girl who got drunk the most and broke the law a lot, putting herself at risk getting in trouble with the law.

She put her arms around his neck and he pulled her closer by her waist. Some people laughed at them, thinking two people like them would never date. 

They broke apart and blushed. Rey smiled and looked at Finn.

"Honestly, that was nice." She said, nervously.

"How about we go dance then we can go drive somewhere and maybe that one rumor about me losing my virginity to a girl can become reality." He said, making her blush and bite her lip.

"Sounds good." She replied, happily as she grabbed his hand and took him off of the bleachers and onto the gym floor where the other couples were slow dancing. Rey put her arms around Finns neck while he put his on her waist.

An hour later, the dance was over and they pressed their lips to each other's lips. He put his hands on her lower hips with her hands on his shoulders.

There were only a few other couples that were making out on the gym floor. After that dance, Rey felt like she was in love with Finn. She knew Finn felt the same way. Finn broke the kiss and made sure no one was looking.

"Why are you looking around like you're about to do something you're not supposed to?" Rey asked, suspiciously.

"So nobody sees me do this." He said, before he  lightly slapped her butt, making her squeak.

"You'll be able to do some more of that later tonight when we're alone." Rey said, blushing. She wrapped her arm around his shoulder and started walking. They were about the same height so that made it easy. He put his arm around her hip as they walked out of the school, ready for a night of fun.
