|| okay, so just imagine that Finn never got struck by a lightsaber for this one. just letting y'all know so y'all don't get confused. enjoy||

"Rey!" Finn yelled as Kylo Ren used the force to throw Rey up against a tree. Finn ignited the lightsaber and swung it at Kylo.

The two battled on for a minute before Rey gained consciousness. She stood up and took out her staff and ran up behind Kylo Ren and right before she was able to swing her staff at Kylo's head, he used to the force to make her hit herself in the head hard with it.

"Ow!" Rey yelled as pain rushed through her head.

"Rey, are you okay?!" Finn yelled as he ran to her side, but held him back by using the force.

Rey stood up again and ran to Finn's side before Kylo could do anything to her. Finn wrapped an arm around her waist holding her up.

"Are you okay?" Finn asked once again.

"Yeah, I'm fine." She said quickly experiencing dizziness.

"Aww, how sweet." Kylo said. "But this isn't the time for any dirty little romance. Love is terrible, sick, and life-ruining."

"Maybe it's because you've never been in love!!" Rey yelled with as much strength as she could use.

Kylo grew even more angry when Rey said that. He quickly swung his lightsaber at her, but before it hit her, his lightsaber hit another lightsaber. He saw Finn blocking his blow with the lightsaber Maz had given him.

Kylo and Finn went into battle while Rey laid there on the cold ground losing consciousness quick. Pain was rushing through her head and the pain made it harder to think and stay conscious.

Finn would take a quick glance back at Rey once or twice to make sure she didn't grow unconscious. He was fighting Kylo for her. She has always wanted him to be strong. This is a life or death moment. If he wasn't strong, he would probably die. If he didn't protect Rey right now, she would possibly die.

A few minutes later, the ground beneath their sore feet grew apart and they were separated.
Finn sighed with relief as he was seeing Kylo on the other side of the split ground. Finn took a glance behind him and saw Rey laying on the ground in the cold snow. He turned his body around and ran towards her.

"Rey!" He yelled as he got to her, kneeling on the ground and pulling her into his arms.

"Finn." She choked out with a weak voice.

"Rey, are you okay?" He asked frantically.

"Yeah." She replied burying her face into his neck to keep warm.

"Doesn't look like it." He said feeling her body start to shiver.

"Rey, I need to get you back to the Falcon." He said as he gently picked her up bridal style and jogged to the Falcon.

Once inside, he set her down and sat next to her. He took her hand in his.

"Thank you." She choked out.

"Why?" He asked.

"For fighting for me and being strong. Also thanks for saving my life." She told him smiling as a light shade of pink came over her pale cheeks.

"You're blushing." He said smiling at her.

"I know." She smiled and brought his face closer to hers, pressing her lips to his.

They pulled away after a few seconds and smiled at each other.

"Thank you for being strong for me, Finn."

"Anything for you, my little Rey of sunshine."

i had like three names for this one shot, but then I decided on this name cause it was cute😊
