Chapter 15

Seth Pov

By the time he had shoved his way through the crowd and out the front door Becky was already waiting for him. Leaning agains’t the car, arms crossed, eyebrows raised she surveyed his lazy walk. From in his arms Jocelny let out a groan tossing her head into his chest, brow furrowing.

“Seth,” she mumbled groggily. “A hammer’s hitting my head.” Clenching his jaw Seth didn’t respond, afraid that all his pent up anger would come spewing out.

“Don’t even say it.” Becky only shrugged opening the passenger door so he could slide Jocelyn in.

“Wasn’t even gonna.” As Seth slammed the door shut Becky winced slightly but kept her mouth shut. She knew he was in a foul mood, though whether his anger was aimed more at Jocelyn or the guy she was too scared to ask.

“I’ll see you at home,” Seth muttered, and without waiting to hear her response he sped off down the road leaving her and everything else far behind.

            “Seth guess what?”

“What?” Seth growled trying to keep his voice even as he carried Jocelyn down the hall. A girlish giggle bubbled from her chest as she started to stroke his neck. “Stop that,” he snapped but she continued to ignore him.

“I kissed Adam Seth, aren’t you proud?” she let out a wistfull sigh closing her eyes before she shifted uncomfortably.

“Could you stop squirming?” Honestly she’d been fidgiting none stop since he picked her up out of the car. It had become quickly apparent that she was so drunk that asking her if she even could walk would be idiotic.

“Oooh, are you Mr. Grumpy?” Another giggle, another roll of the eyes.

“No.”

“Yes you are!”

“Jocelyn,” his voice was seriously, deadly almost. Yet if he had ever met anyone who didn’t get intimidated by him it was the petit blonde he was carrying. There was a moment of silence in which for a brief moment he thought she’d finally passed out.

“Seth,” she retorted dropping her voice so it was a good octaves lower. Despite of everything a small smile twitched at the corner of Seth’s lips. From then on neither of them said anything, as the silence engulfed them. Instead the only sounds were his steady footsteps and the occasional hiccup from Jocelyn. Nobody else seemed to be around.

Finally the two of them reached her room and Seth swiftly opened the door before plopping her onto her bed.

“Go get changed,” he sighed as she started bopping around, her legs dangeling over the edge.

“Okay!” Her voiee was overly enthusiastic but Seth was too tired to be annoyed. Instead he flopped down on the bed only to open his eyes again when he heard he clear her throat.

“Seth.” He grunted in response. “Seth!” Sitting up he leaned against her headboard and raised an eyebrow. Jocelyn stood before him looking so serious it was as if she wasn’t drunk off her ass.

“What?”

“You have to promise not to peak.”

“Promise.” Her grey eyes surveyed him for another moment, and she must’ve seen something that satisfied her because she skipped off into her walk in closet. Letting out a sigh Seth ran a hand across his face closing his eyes. He tried to relax but every moment he did the image of Jocelyn kissing Adam swept into his mind. Feeling his hands clench at his side he let out a steady breath. He sure as hell shouldn’t care anyway. The two of them would never be anything. Therefore she shouldn’t mean anything to him. Though deep down he knew she did, and that’s what pissed him off more the anything.

The sound of her approaching footsteps caused him to open his eyes and he almost choked on air. Standing before him was Jocelyn wearing nothing but an oversized gray shirt that reached her knees. His shirt.

“Who’s is that?” he snapped his eyes narrowing. Her shoulders rose and fell lightly in response.

“Mine silly.”

“It’s a boys.” Her eyes went wide and shot down to the shirt and then back up.

“Oh my gosh… do you think it’s Adam’s?”

“No.”

“I do.” I don’t. He knew for a fact he had lent her that shirt and then never bothered to ask for it back, she’d looked as sexy as hell in it. Still does. Shaking his head Seth tried to clear it but as soon as he did he realized Jocelyn was sitting right in front of him, practically stradeling him. “You know what I think?” she said softly as she traced down his jaw with her finger.

“What?” Seth asked trying to keep his voice steady.

“That I want to kiss you,” she said matter of factly leaning closer to him. However when he put his hand on her shoulder to stop her she frowned.

“What’s wrong?”

“You’re drunk Jocelyn,” he said voice flat.

“No I’m not. I just really want to kiss you dumby.” His lips quirked upwards and he leaned his head forward until his lips lightly brushed her cheek.

“There, happy?”

“You kissed me, now I can kiss you.” She said and leaned forward once again. Only this time Seth didn’t stop her. Instead he sat smirking, knowing she wouldn’t do it. Jocelyn had always been fairly shy. The thing was she didn’t stop, and the next thing Seth knew he lips were lightly grazing his. At the one simple touch sparks flew through his entire body, and that was all it took for him to cup her cheek with one hand and kiss her back.

Joce POV

Nobody should be allowed to be as good a kisser. It should honestly be illegal. Yet as she kissed Seth back feeling the electricity course through her viens, she knew that she would never be able to get the same satisfaction from anyone else. Moaning she inched forward till she was stradeling his hips her hands running along his muscular chest. She could feel the want, the need, the ache, everywhere. His hands ran through her hair and she felt the quick smile against her lips. Until he was pushing her off him, and it was over as quickly as it had started. Sitting crossed legged she faced him her chest rising and falling, breathing hard. His hair was disheveled and his shirt crinkled, yet all she could think about was that she had never seen anyone so sexy. Neither of them said anything for a long minute before Seth cleared his throat dragging his eyes away from hers.

“You should get some sleep.” Exhaustion suddenly swept Jocelyn’s whole body and she felt the high’s of the night slowly slipping away. Like water through your fingers.

“Okay,” she whispered and started to crawl under the covers. Seth stayed beside her for a minute before abruptly standing up and making his way towards the door. Jocelyn didn’t know what came over her, what possessed her to utter the words, but they were flying out of  her mouth before she could stop them. “Stay with me.” He froze, hand centimeters away from the handle.

“Please.”

“Why?” the question seemed loud in the room and Jocelyn fidgeted, playing with the blanket.

“Cause we’re all alone, and…” she took a breath. “Sometime’s I have these nightmares.”
