I'm scared for Albus. No one knows what's happened to him. I can't get the image of him out of my head. I remember waking up and seeing him lying on the floor. At first I thought he was dead but thank God that wasn't the case. He was hurt though. I got him to the hospital wing as fast as I could.

Why was I in front of him when I woke up you may ask? I have absolutely no clue. I just kind of did. Many people found this suspicious and suspected me to be the one to have attacked Albus but they had no proof.

I'm sitting beside Albus in the hospital wing now with Rose and Kendall. Rose didn't talk much, she just sat there and thought to herself. Kendall was trying to figure out what might've happened to him. Sadly, no matter how hard he tried to find an answer, we never got one.

"Who could've done it?" Kendall asked, while shaking his head. His expression showed pure confusion. I felt the same way.

"I have no idea," I said quietly. Questions crowded my head. Who would want to hurt Albus? Why would they? How did they get inside of Hogwarts? Was this part of a plan? Is there something bigger going on? We're people aware of it, if there was, or were they being oblivious?

We sat there for a bit longer in silence which was soon interrupted by Rose standing up from her chair. She stood, looking at Albus, for a couple moments before hugging her school books to her chest and looking to both sides of her to see me and Kendall.

"We should probably start heading to class," she said. "We have transfiguration soon and we don't want to be late."

We all got up from our chairs and said goodbye to Albus before leaving the room to head to our Transfiguration class. It was a somewhat long walk to our classroom and we had to walk down a long corridor to get there. We were about to turn into that corridor but Kendall stopped us and said, "We're going to be late. Follow me, I know a shortcut, it's over here."

We hesitantly followed Kendall knowing we would be late if we did take our normal route. Kendall led us through a small through corridor with no students. I'd been through the corridor before and knew Professor Welsh's store was in the corridor, I didn't know where but I knew it was there.

I stopped when I heard shouting coming through one of the doors we were passing. The voice was Professor Welsh's so I assumed it was his store. I stopped Rose and Kendall, curious of what my poisons professor might be shouting that loud about.

"--in the castle, I'm telling you!"

"How are you sure it's not some student brewing a potion, unsupervised," said the familiar voice of our Headmistress McGonagall.

"What potion would they be brewing?!"

"Why would I know? You tell me, you're the potions professors!"

"But I don't know!" Professor Welsh shouted. I exchange worried and confused expression with Kendall and Rose. "Unicorn blood, dragon scales, wormwood essence, acromantula venom, fluxweed! Whatever potion is being brewed is not known to wizard kind so you can cross off any student on the list of suspects you have!"

There was a brief silence before we heard McGonagall's voice say, "Very well then." We saw the knob of the door start to twist and the three of us immediately rushed through the door beside Professor Welsh's store. It turns out it was a broom cupboard and we stayed in there until we were certain our Headmistress had passed.

When we could no longer hear Headmistress McGonagall's footsteps anymore we stood for a while, steadying our breath. After a couple moments we soon slowly opened the broom closet door and hesitantly reentered the corridor once again.

"Do you really think there is someone inside Hogwarts?" Rose asked while looking down to the end of the corridor, where our Headmistress had disappeared.

"I guess I have to believe it," I answered, looking at her though her eyes stayed glued to the end of the corridor. "what else could have stolen from Professor Welsh's store and on top of that, make a potion that he is not familiar with? Whatever is inside the school is not a student and I highly doubt they are on our side."

Kendall glanced at me, giving me a look of suspicion, or at least that's what I thought it was. I couldn't piece together why he would look at me like that though. Why could I have done?

We walked to the rest of our class in silence, each of us trying to sink in the situation that had just occurred and we had witnessed. By the time we had made it to our class we could see that class was almost finished and immediately we were all unsure whether we wanted to enter the class or not.

"Why don't we skip," Kendall suggested. "They're already halfway done brewing a potion and there is no way we could catch up. While we have free time we can go and see Headmistress McGonagall and ask her a couple of questions."

So we all set off to find a teacher that was willing to escort us to the Headmistress' office. We soon found someone and they lead us through many different corridors before we stopped in front of a small wooden door.

"Petrificus Leviosa," the professor said with her hand extended towards the door. The door made a loud cracking noise as it jerked slightly but it then opened slowly making only quiet creaking noises. We thanked the Professor and all stepped through.

We stood there gaping at the office until we were interrupted by Headmistress McGonagall.

"Hello, what brings you here to my office?" she asked and we all snapped out of our daze to look at her. Though she had just had that conversation with Professor Welsh, she looked pretty calm.

"W-we just wanted to ask if Hogwarts... is safe," Rose explained.

"Is that all?" the Headmistress asked shakily. We all nodded our heads and she soon slowly nodded hers. She looked at all three of us in the eye before she answered the question.

"Hogwarts is most definitely safe," she replied then spun around leaving us three to do whatever she was doing before we came, in the back of her office.
