I stood still. Then Robin came in.

"Mary are you alright? You've been there for a while.

"I..."

"Oh my God." He said immediately when he saw the two red lines that said it all. His face was pale. His eyes were big.

"Mary..." a tear rolled through my face but I was still.

"This is not happening." I whispered. "This is not happening." I started crying. Robin held me tight, his arms were taking care of me, I knew they wouldn't let me go.

"I'm so sorry." He said. I kept on crying.

"I...I was this innocent girl...I...I had Aby and...everything was normal. And now I'm a...what have I become?" I sobbed.

"I love you." Suddenly those words made sense. They had made sense before, but now I felt like I really needed them.

"What are we gonna do?"

"We'll figure it out. I want you to stay calm." He touched my hair and held me close. But I saw a bruise on his left arm. I grabbed it and pulled the sleeve.

"What's this?"

"It's nothing."

"Robin. You didn't have that before." I pulled his t-shirt. It had lots of blue bruises.

"Oh my God! Robin! Tell me what happened!"

"I...got into a fight..."

"Who with?"

"It doesn't matter."

"Robin." I said seriously.

"Mary...I...it's really nothing..."

"Robin." I looked firmly into his eyes.

"Roy. When you told him about...us, he was really mad at him and...well...I am...was his best friend, I mean, it was logical..." I stared at him. How could someone as sweet as Roy do something like this?

"Anyway, it was nothing."

"Oh Robin." I threw my arms around him.

I was at school. If I wanted everyone to think I wasn't pregnant I had to look normal. I sat down. The teacher hadn't arrived yet. I turned and catched Aby staring at me, but she quickly walked away. Then, I made eye contact with Roy, who took a deep breath and ignored me. Okay, so they were still mad at me. Suddenly the teacher arrived. She started talking.

My heart was beating fast. I felt like everyone could see the baby inside me. Suddenly I had the urge to throw up. I couldn't take this.

I stood up and run out of the classroom. I entered the bathroom, went to the toilet and started throwing up. I took out my cell phone and called Robin, who hadn't come to school.

"Mary?"

"Robin. I can't take this! There's a baby growing inside me! What are we going to do when it comes? I'm freaked out! I just can't be with people! I can't be here! I have to get out!"

"Mary."

"I...I..."

"Calm down. Breath. I'll go and get you, ok? No one's forcing you to stay."

"Ok. Thank you."

I got out of the toilet. Someone was standing outside. Aby.
