First day of school Pt.2

I had managed to stay awake through the first three periods. Well, with a little help from Lily, she had helped keep me awake by any means necessary, "That last hit wasn't necessary Lily," We were heading to the cafeteria, and I was rubbing my head where Lily had landed a book on earlier, "I told you to stay awake didn't I?"

"I can't argue with that," Lily lead me over to the lunch line before I stopped her, "Oh no, I'm not gonna eat. I'm not hungry, to be honest, I'm still full from the pancakes this morning," Lily gazed at my stomach and sighed, "Well, I see that you've eaten a lot this morning. I was wondering why you were hunched over all of third period today. Well, just stay with me up here, you don't have to get anything. We use meal tickets anyway," She was right about that, everyone including Lily, was carrying little slips of paper. I thought it was cool; most of the schools I went to never did this, not once. So this was relatively new to me. Once she had gotten her food, we sat down at table with only two seats, "Wow, a table for two. Haha, this school is awesome."

Lily beamed a light a smile towards me and then looked at something on her tray, "Is something up?"

"Here," She had a few peaches on her fork and moved it towards me, "Huh, you want me to eat it?" I asked in confusion, "You need something in your body before we head home. So c'mon, say 'aaaaah'," I slowly opened my mouth as she place the fork in my mouth and bit down. Not long afterwards, I heard a few girls not far from us commenting on what we did, "She's lucky to have a boyfriend like that. He's so cute," I blushed at the comments and I looked back at Lily who was only smiling as they said that.

She saw my flustered face and she started laughing. I couldn't help but laugh as well. But not long after, I felt a disturbance in the force, "What's up Ed?

"I think Kat is watching us from afar," I turn towards a nearby window and I was correct, "Yup, she's watching us. Isn't she supposed to be in class?" I had turn to Lily as I asked that, "Yeah, she is supposed to be in class right now," Lily glared at Kat, which caused her to run off quickly. I couldn't help but laugh, "What's funny?"

"It's just how she acts, and how you react to it. It's just... soothing for some reason,"  Lily brought another spoonful of peaches up to my mouth, and I take a bite, "We try and make you feel welcome. Although, she's trying a little too hard."

"I see that, and the others are like that as well. Well, apart from Sena of course," Lily chuckled after I said that, "She'll warm up to you as time moves on. And of course, the twins have already warmed up to you," I had remembered the first thing I did yesterday with the twins. Actually, all I did yesterday was hang out with the twins, "Yeah, I didn't think they'd warm up to me so quickly."

"I was kind of jealous as well," I raised an eyebrow as she said that, "Jealous?" Lily gave me a wink after I had questioned her, "Oh never mind," She had gotten up to put her tray away, but I stopped her, "What's wrong?"

"Let me put your tray away," I took Lily's tray and set it in the "tray out area" and I walked back to her, but she stood up and took my hand, "What are you doing Lily," She didn't answer me and we simply walked out the cafeteria, "..."

We continued walking towards our classroom before someone behind calls to Lily, "Hey Lily, who the hell is this chump?"

It was a rather large individual. He looked easily to be 200 pounds and 6 foot 3 inches. He walked towards us and looked at me. Lily answered him sternly, "He's my brother, so now please get away from us."

He just grinned at her and then looked back at me, "Ha, your brother? Hehe, listen you little runt, I don't care who you are, but you better not get in my way," He got closed to face, he had passed my personal boundary, "Listen, why don't you get your fish breath face out of mine. You'll regret it..."

A few students, which turned to numerous students surrounded us. I know what I said went a little far, but I don't like people getting in my personal space in a hostile way, "What you say? Ha, you'll regret ever saying that to me," He cocked back and he flew a punch towards me, "Ed!"

Without hesitation, I catch his flying fist, which had caught him by surprise, "W-What?" His face was filled with confusion, but still with a hint of anger, "Not a smart thing to do. Now, I don't know who you are," before I continued, I put him in a arm lock from behind and pushed him against the wall, "But I advise you to never get in my face like that again. You hear me right?"

He didn't answer, which only caused me increase the lock, "Y-Yeah! I got it!"

"That's a good boy, now run along."

I released him from my grip and he gripped his arm tightly. He then looked back at me, "This isn't the last time you'll be hearing of me you little boy," I just grinned evilly, "Ha, I didn't think it was."

We had a short stare down before he walked off. Not long after, Lily pulled on my shirt, "Is your hand alright?"

"Yeah, if anything, I think I hurt his hand," She didn't have the same serious expression she always has, it was more sorrowful and sympathetic, it had me a little worried. The crowd dispersed, and it was only us two left in the deserted hallway, "Lily, really I'm fine. You thought that guy could hurt me? Hmph..."

Lily looked up to and she met my bright smile, "Now, c'mon, I'm sure teachers will be surrounding this area soon after all the commotion. Let's head inside the classroom," She silently nodded her head and we walked inside the classroom. *Sigh* I wonder who that guy was...
