Unofficial Date Pt.3

Once Ed and Kat were finished with their meals, they left and started heading to a park, "Ah, that food was amazing. I'm so full right now," Ed stretched and looked at Kat in the process. Kat was grasping her stomach, "My stomach hurts so much right now Ed. I think I ate too much... uguu..."

"Well, you ordered the bottomless fries, and you had 5 baskets of fries, so I wouldn't be surprised if you were over filled...," Kat just kept holding her stomach, and Ed just chuckled, "You know, there's a spot that Lily and I found a few weeks back, it's quite a walk from here, so maybe your stomach should feel better when we get there."

Kat just nodded in response, "Alright," Ed grabbed her hand, causing Kat to look up at him, "let's go Kat," She blushed lightly and nodded once again. They walked from the park to a hill, "A hill?" "It's not about the hill, it's about what you see on top of the hill. Oh, by the way, what time is it?"

Kat took out her phone to check the time, "Um, it's 6:55. Why?" "Sunset starts at 7:15 tonight, and I think we should get a wonderful view of the sunset. It may be cheesy, but the view is just awe inspiring!"

They trudged up the strenuous hill, and they made small conversation, "So Ed, do you know that man that was at the restaurant earlier?" Ed nodded, "Yeah, he was supposed to be my opponent in the Pan American Karate Championship finals."

"Oh, did you win?" Ed stopped midway, a small breeze came through the hill. Kat stared at him in awe, completely forgetting about her question, "He looks so amazing...," Ed chuckled and looked at Kat, "No, I didn't win... I lost by default."

Kat snapped out of her trance and asked, "Default... how?" Ed looked at the sky and responded, "Well, I didn't have the will to keep going..., so I just dropped out. I know for sure he wants that match with me...," Ed looked at his hand, and balled it into a fist, "I'm gonna give him that fight too... sooner or later."

Kat stared down, and walked down towards him, "Well, I know you'll win," Then she grabbed his fist, which causes him to loosen it, "and I know you won't lose..."

Ed grew a small smile on his face, and continued walking up the mountain, "C'mon, it's almost 7:15, the sunset is about to start," He started running up hill, like a child running towards there parents, "C'mon Kat! Don't be such a slow poke, or we'll miss the sunset!"

"At least wait for me!" Kat followed suit, and caught up with Ed at the top, "Whew, you never leave girl behind like that," Kat then turned towards the Sun, "You see Kat, right on time," He looked down at her, and beamed a light smile. This smile caused her heart to race, more than usual, "My heart feels as if it's going to burst out my chest. I'm not usually like this with him... is this genuine love?"

She was about to hold her chest, but she felt like she was being lifted off her feet, "W-Whoa! Ed, what are you-," When she saw Ed, he was beneath her, and she was on his shoulders, "You can get a better view like this. This is better isn't it?"

Kat's face was hot and she could feel that her face was blushing, but she answered him, "Of course, it's gorgeous!" It was an amazing sight to see. She was amazed that Ed had found such a nice view of the sunset, "Ed, this view..."

Ed then said, "Hey Kat, the reason the girls didn't follow us, is because I told them to do something," Kat looked down at Ed, and Ed looked back at her, "It's something a little special, and it's something that you've also been looking forward to."

Kat looked down, and Ed looked at his phone, "It's almost time, I think it's time to-," Ed was about to turn around, but Kat prevented him from doing so, "Don't turn your head!" "What, don't want me to look up your dress? C'mon, you're a bro con, you would want me to."

"I'm not Lily Ed!" Ed laughed and they continued gazing at the sunset, "Well, you're still the boldest. I mean, you remember last week when we took a bath... even I didn't expect you to grab my... manhood, hehe."

Kat just grabbed her chest again and looked down, and was met with Ed's gaze, "So, you ready for the surprise at home?" Kat nodded, she still didn't know what he meant, "What else does he have in store? Oh, my heart is just beating like a drum thinking about it!"

They walked back down the hill, Kat still on his shoulder, and she smiled, "Ah,I'm so glad he's our brother. Wait, now that I'm thinking back to before, when he asked if I'll be happy if he's with someone other than me... I mean it's possible that Ed and Charl have feelings for each other... I don't know."

"What's with that long face princess?" Kat heart stopped as he said 'princess'. Not because Ed said it, but because she remembered that her father had said it as well. Not only did he say it like her father, but she's on his shoulder's like it's her father. Upon remembering her father for a brief moment, she felt the tears form in her eyes, and down they came, like a waterfall. Ed caught a glimpse of this and put her down, "Kat! What's the matter? D-Did you not like being on my shoulder? Crap, I'm so very sorry!"

He pulled in her in for a hug, but Kat said, "I'm not crying because I'm sad... I'm crying because I remembered something from my childhood," "What did you remember?" She pulled away from Ed, and put hand on his cheek, "I remembered my father... when I was younger..."

"Oh... that's awesome!" Kat then remembered that Ed is a orphan as well, "Oh, do you have any memories of your family? I think it's kind of unfair that I'm crying here remembering my family, so what about yours?" Ed stiffened up, he barely remembers his father, but his mom, is the mom he has now. The girls have yet to know that Ed his her actual son, "Um, I don't really remember my parents, or if I had any siblings. I guess it's because I was only a few years old before I got put up for adoption."

They sat there looking at each other, Kat kind of felt bad that she asked him about his family. She saw that he was moving his hand to her face, "Um, you need to get these tears off your face. It's cute, but it's not you."

Now, their hands were on each other's cheeks. Causing both to blush, "Um, how about we head home. The girls are probably done setting everything up for the surprise," He stands up and offers a hand to her, "Thank you Ed," "Not a problem, now let's get going! You're gonna love the surprise!"

In Kat's mind, she's still processing that intimate moment they, "We were so close. We had almost kissed... uguu..."
