Stabbed?

My eyes slowly open, I hear the beeping of a ICU heart monitor, "Wow, haven't heard one of these in a while...," I couldn't move my mouth well, but at least my mind was still in tact...

My only question is what happened. What I remember is feeling a burning sensation on my shoulder. I sat there for a while before I got back up. The pain was unbearable for me to handle, but powering through, I move inside the tent. I hadn't known how long I was out there, but it seemed it was quite a while... from what I heard Stacy say, "Oh god, what happened to you?! You've lost so much blood... we need to get an ambulance here..."

That's about it, I guess it's my own stupidity for not knowing that David was going to try something dirty... what a bastard.

I look around as my vision became clearer, and decided to sit up, "I really am in a hospital... I guess I can ask if I can go home today," My shoulder was sore a little, but it wasn't excruciating. I thought about standing up and walking around the room, but I don't think that would be a good idea, "I think I'll just wait for the doctor to come back in."

About an hour or 2 later, the door to my room opened, "Hey Ed, it's me Kat-," "Sup Kat," I say nonchalantly. She was holding a bouquet of flowers, "Aw, are those flowers for me? You shouldn't have Kat."

Kat gets teary eyed and runs into my arms, "Whoa, how long was I out?" She couldn't answer me because she was crying too hard. Soon afterwards, the door bursts open to reveal the remaining members of my family, "Oh my god, Ed!"

Lily was next to pull me in for a bear hug, but she hugged me in the wrong area, "Ow...," "Oh sorry, it's just... we're so happy you're ok," Well, at least Lily can talk, the twins were holding my hands, but Sena was in the corner of the room, staring out the window, "*Sigh* Tsundere as ever, huh?" I mumble lightly.

I turn to my mom, who's holding in her tears of joy and then I look at Lily to ask her, "How long was I out. I'm pretty sure it was only for a day or two...,"

All the girls looked up and looked at each other. Kat was first to speak, "Ed, do you know how much blood you lost?"

"Hm, I don't think I lost much. I kept the blade inside so that the blood wouldn't burst out," Lily then spoke up, "You know, they had to take the knife out to stitch it up," then the twins, "So when they did, the blood burst out of your shoulder like a volcano," Lastly, our mom spoke, "You lost a lot of blood. They had to find someone to donated," "Who donated?"

Everyone looked back at Sena, "Sena? I never expected her to do it," "She was the only one that had your blood type," I looked at Sena as well. She continued looking away from me, probably to avoid the gaze of myself and the others.

"She probably didn't want to do it...," I pause slightly as I mumbled that. I didn't want to say it out loud to create tension in the room, but I continued, "Originally I ask how long I was out, not that extra stuff," Lily gripped my shoulder harder, causing me to flinch, "Sorry, but do you want to know how long you were out?" I nod my head in response. Lily sighed and answered, "You were out for 3 days..."

3 days?! Damn it! I knew I would miss the rest of the festival, but I didn't think I was going to be out for 3 days! I sit in shock as I was trying to process it, "Um, when can I leave?"

"They said they'll see if you're eligible to be outside again," I look down at my lap, and start to grow tired all of a sudden.

I didn't know how to feel. I just want to leave the hospital, I just don't want to be in a hospital... I've been in hospitals too many times. I clasp my hands together and hold in my anger. My anger towards David grows tremendously... I want to rip that man's esophagus out so badly... no, I need to...

Silence fills the room, causing an eeriness in the air. A nurse walked in to break the silence, "Sorry, but the next visitor is here," They all shook their head and walked out, but before the girls left, everyone except Sena pecked me on the cheek, "Uh...," "It's because we care about you."

I blush lightly at that, but I stopped Kat before she left, "Kat wait," She turned around and I wave over to me, "What is it?" I whisper in her ear, "When I get out... let's go on a date," She blushed at my statement, but I added, "Not on a real date though," She nudged my injured shoulder, "Don't tease me like that Ed... ugh, I love you."

"I love you too Kat," Her face turns tomato red after I returned her love. I just chuckle at her reaction, "Alright Kat, head on home now alright?" She nods happily and walks out.

"I see you're awake Mr.Lucifer," The nurse said. I nod gleefully, "I guess you can send in the next visitor," She nodded and walked out the room. I'm suspecting the next visitor to be either Ms.Lincoln or Charl.

As the door opened, it was someone I hadn't expect to see... well, at least not for a while, "Good evening, Ed. Long time no see," He walks up to my bed and shakes my hand, "It has been a long time Ed."

I nod and respond, "It has... Lieutenant Caldwell," Hmph, I see... welcome back Lieutenant... it's been too long since then...
