I watched him walk away, phone in hand once again.

This was definitely not how I imagined all of this to happen. Not at all. I know he's cheeky but I also know that they don't mean it like that. I guess, I was proven wrong. You know what they say, you learn something everyday. I turned around and walked away.

"What they don't tell you is whether you'll like it or not," I whispered to myself.

I walked back to my Uni room, head bowed down low, looking at my feet. I have to say my emotions are now, at least, very clear. I felt disappointed that he wasn't as I expected him to be. But who was I to know who he really was. I only knew him through a computer screen. It still hurt me though, that he wasn't that guy who's always so happy and smiling and laughing and  playful. But who was I to be hurt? Who was I to him anyway but a girl who watches his every video, saves every photo of him, and gathers as much information about him. In shorter term, I was like everybody else. In my frustration, I kicked a non existent thing to the side.

I looked up again, neck hurting, and realized that I had missed my destination. I walked a couple meters back and pushed open the doors. Before I reach my Uni room, I'm always met by a sort of living room for students. It had three couches and loads of small love chairs, a long table down against the wall for students who wanted to study.

There, in one of the love chairs, sat Emthy, the only person who seemed tolerable enough. But seriously, I don't know where I would be if I never met her. She stood up at the sight of me, her arms open to hug me and then stopped, looking at my shirt.

"Someone, liked their job a little bit too much today, huh?" She said, to which I rolled my eyes at. "It was just a joke!" she said with a light hearted laugh. "So, what happened?"

"Can we just talk about it some other time?" I said, coming off like I was tired.

"Okay, I'll grab you some cold water for that stain and you can grab my basin. It's in the top cabinet on the left." she instructed.

"Am I the only one who didn't know how to take these stains out?" I said but did as I was instructed anyway.

Her room was right next to mine with pastle blue paint that said 'No snooping!' Then, I went to my room to change my shirt into a fresh one. I could only take the scent of coffee for too long. Basin and shirt in hand I walked over to the laundry room.

"You know, I have a wide imagination, right?" Emthy said as soon as I walked in.

"And...?" I put the basin down and filled it with the cold water from the little pail.

"Well, I've been thinking of how you got coffee spilled on you," she informed me. You could see the beaming of her eyes.

"You can try and guess," I urged.

"I think that there you were, in the coffee shop, time about to end and you were waiting for it. Then as you were exiting the shop," she gave it a rather dramatic effect. "And boom, you bumped into someone, preferably super cute, and he's flustered - he can't tell whether it was the fact that he spilled someone with coffee or the fact that he's stunned by your beauty," this is the part where I elbowed her. "Hey! Can you at least try and start harrasing me when I'm done?" She didn't wait for an answer. "Then, he hepled you up. Guiding you by the hips and when you were standing up, he gazed into your eyes and smiled and then he apologized over and over again and you said it was okay but no he wouldn't go away. He offered to walk you home and then little by little he slips his fingers into yours and the end!" She joyfully concluded.

"Hmmm..." was all I could manage.

"What does that mean? Does that mean part of it was true? It is, isn't it?!" she beamed.

"You should really stop jumping into conclusions." I said flatly.

"And what? Pull myself back to earth. Come on Gwen, really?"

"Fine!" I gave up. "A guy spilling coffee on me, true." She nodded, eager. "A cute guy, true. Flustered, not true." I saw her pout a bit from the corner of my eye. "He helped me up, true. No, he didn't gaze into my eyes and he didn't walk me home and most importantly, he didn't even say sorry!" I hadn't noticed that I was spitting the words as they left my lips and also how hard I've been scrubbing my poor shirt.

I stopped and dropped my shirt into the water and made a big flop. I looked at Emthy and he expression was incredibly unreadable. She wasn't really shocked, she didn't particularly not care. She just had a huge poker face on.

"What?" I asked almost innocently.

"Who was it?" she asked with the same unreadable expression.

"Why?"

"Will you just please answer?" she begged.

"I think you won't believe me." I remarked.

"Try me," she challenged.

I faced her, straight on with the most serious face I had and carefully let the name "Jack Harries" spill out and it was like slow motion how her jaw dropped and how her eyes opened wide and how quickly she closed them and squealed. I just stood there, like we changed expressions. I now had the poker face.

"Are you done now?" I said flatly again. I've been awfully flat this day, huh.

"Why are you not freaking out?"

"Because... Ugh! It's hard to explain." Now, frustration creeped up back into my spine and gave me shivers.

Emthy gave a deep sigh and rubbed my back comfortingly. "I've never seen you this... confused." It came of more of a question.

"I know," was all I could say.
