"I don't care who you are, where you're from, don't care what you did as long as you love me."

—As long as you Love me by The Backstreet Boys

_____________

"Oi! Sean! Stop!" I yelled, running behind my best friend. He turned his head towards me and continues to walk into the distance.

What the actual fuck?

"Oi! I asked you to stop right there Matthews!" I yelled louder this time, I had to take advantage of the empty corridors now, right?

"What is it Sophia?" He implies in a boring tone.

"Someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed today." I taunt. In return, he rolls his eyes at me. Okay, Sophia, you have to talk to him. Forget even if Ashley told you not to.

"Sean, we need to talk." I whisper. Raising his head, he narrows his eyes at me, "Alright, shoot."

"Did you kiss Felicity?" At my question, he glares at me, "How did you know that? You left with Ander--" but just then realisation struck him, "Oh, Ashley told you, didn't she now?" He stroked his chin, as if contemplating the next from my side.

"Indeed, she did, now, I don't have any right to tell you to what to do and what to not, but this time, I'll pass." He stared at me as if I was the biggest idiot alive.

Touchè, I don't doubt you Sean.

"Okay, get to the point Sophia. What's wrong if I kissed her? I mean, come on, she's hot." Sean said, making every drop of blood in my body boil.

"Sean! Are you listening to yourself? She's a practical whore! I mean...she's Victoria's slutty friend, she's just too much Ms. I'm-displaying-my-cleavage that's all! She doesn't like yo-- oh wait, you two aren't dating, right?"

Sean shook his head, "Nope, not yet, but I'm gonna ask her to. God, Soph, she's too hot, I swear." What is wrong with him today?! Looks like I just have to get to the point now.

"Sean, here's the thing, Ashley likes you, like...A lot, like, a lot, a lot, you know?" I shrug.

After giving me a glare he says, "Of course she does, we're best friends!" He laughed and patted my back.

I, on the other hand, face palmed. Is he so freaking blind? "Dude, I meant like...in the sense that she wants you to ask her out."

That's when his face expression dropped. "Wh--what? Ashley wants me to ask her out?" He almost chokes.

"Yeah, and I know this because...she told me that herself and also told me that she likes you...a lot." I jump on my feet, waiting for him to say yes to this.

It would be so good if they dated. I mean, I'd ship sealey.

He just frowns at me, "I'm sorry, she's got the wrong one then. I mean, come on, of course I love Ashley, just the same way way I love you, you guys are my best friends. But no Soph, not like dating her like." He summed up.

He is breaking sealey even before it started?! No!

My mouth fell open in shock. Did he really mean that? I thought they two had some kind of connection and cupid has shot him in the heart, but looks like I was wrong.

Dead wrong, may I add.

"I'm sorry Soph, I gotta go, I got Calculus ahead. Wish me luck!" He yelled while walking off and I stood there, struck as ever.

"Sean!" I yelled again, when he turns around I shrug, "Don't tell anything about this to Ashley. Please." He smiled at me and nodded. I still can't belive he doesn't like her that way.

Sighing, I walked off to my Maths class, not really had I actually made it before someone grabbed me by the arm and led me into another classroom, an empty one.

"Hey! Why you do that for! I'm gonna be late ok--" I stopped my ranting as soon as I saw Aiden before my eyes. Immediately my eyes softened. He was a good guy, "Hey Aiden."

Hew locked the door and then turned to me, "Hi Sophia. Look, I'm sorry for bringing, no, dragging you in here but this is important." He raked a hand through his brown locks and turned to me.

Damn. He is sexy.

"Ooookkaayy." I stretched, "What is it Aiden?" I searched his eyes for a answer but no luck, damn , this guy was good at hiding his emotions.

"It's...Max, he'll come to you today so..Please don't screw up, I'm..." before he could finish the sentence the door swung open, revealing the bad boy squad.

I stood silent next to Aiden who had a calmed breath unlike me who was breathing like a pig.

"I thought you locked the door," I whisper to Aiden. He doesn't make eye contact but whispered back, "I did, but there's not a single lock Chase can't pick."

I fucking hate Chase Staton. Oh so much, that I want to rip out his ears and staple them to his throat. That's how much I hate him.

"What are you doing here with the nerd, Aiden?" Chase said, being the pathetic meanie he is. I ignored his comment but a voice snapped me to turn my attention to him.

Chase groaned when I looked at him, he was clenching his stomach, "Don't call her that you idiot." Max growled at him. I looked over to Nash who winked at me, throwing punches in the air as he was trying to tell me something.

Probably something that I was too dumb to understand.

That's when it hit me, Max had just punched Chase because...He had just called me a nerd.

Whoa. That's...too much.

"Sophia?" Max's voice filled my ears when I turned to him.

"Come with me," he says and nods at Nash, maybe some best friend or bro-code. For all I know, it could be an order to explode the whole school.

Maybe even the tristate area.

Nash smiles when he looks at me, "Okay Aiden, we need to talk."

Aiden widens his bluer-than-the-sky eyes and walks off to his 'squad'. "Wish me luck, I'll need it," he murmur to me and I smile.

"Good luck dude."

Nash grabs Aiden's arm and leads him outside along with Chase but not before passing me a smirk.

"Sophia, come here, can't you listen!" Max yells, making me jump. I quickly nod and come by his side. Without a glance he asks, "What were you doing with Aiden?"

"Ah...We were just talking about..."

"Spare me the bullshit, what were you two talking about?" He demands, leading me away from school, I choose to just shut up and walk with him.

"Nothing Max. Really, you guys came in before he could say anything." I honestly tell me and he nods.
"Where are we going? This is out of the school premises!" I gasp.

"We're going to...naww it's a surprsie. But I can tell you this," he goes back to being his usual annoying self and I liked it that way.

"That what?"

"That this is a date. Our first date." He answers.
