"Standing in the eye of the storm, my eyes start to roll to the curl of your lips to the center of eclipse, in total darkness I, reach out and touch."

Fatoosh...drip, drip.
The watered bucket emptied over my head as I gasped. "What the actual fuck?" A groan escaped my lips a little too soon. I swiped my hands over my eyes. Ugh, I let out a rather loud groan, not even bothering how un-womanly of that would be of me. The moment the bucket empties it's contents on me, I already knows whose doing is it.
Max Freaking Anderson, that handsome bastard.
Balling my fists, I suppress my anger as I took deep breathes in and out. He's testing my patience and I want to kill him. Yes, kill him, even though I love him.
But why do I? Even after knowing that there is absolutely zero percent of a chance of getting us back together. I was just a bet. Just a stupid little bet on money or even worse.
If that wasn't all, I felt like utter shit. I had just surrendered my heart over to him and he breaks it, shattering it into tiny millions of pieces— just like glass and then stomping over it like it never happened.
The worst part about it was that I let myself be toyed by him. I was the only person responsible for shattering my own heart.
Now, I stand in the middle of the hallway with a pathetic little crying face and a water bucket emptied on my head. Oh, and let's not forget the people who are laughing at me, stealing glances at my poor self — watching me cry but no one, absolutely no one is consoling me.
It hurts — so much.
"Oh look at Ms. Goody Good, is that water?" I heard the bitch herself — Victoria.
"Awww, are you hurt? Well, that's what you get for being a stupid and not seeing such things before. Things that will humilate you in front of everyone." She flips her blond hair, walking away from me but only coming back from a voice.
With my eyes screwed shut, I pray for her to just leave. Leave so she can't create a scene here — knowing that she will try to humiliate me more than I had already been humiliated.
"Why don't you go and fuck yourself? Huh?" Says a voice. I hear a few gasps in the background. Opening my eyes, I see a furious Lucy pointing a finger at Victoria.
"What-what did you say?" Was Victoria's reply. Hm, an insult slammed right into her slutty face.
"I said," Lucy walks upto her, her heels clicking, "Go, fuck yourself. You'll probably do the entire school a favour if you get rid of that slutty face you yours." By the time Lucy was finished, a whole crowd had gathered at the scene— gawking at us.
"You," Victoria stepped forward (if that was even possible because of how close she already was) and pointed a finger at Lucy, "You'll pay for this Fin. You'll be down on your knees begging for my mercy." She scoffed at Lucy who seemed to be least affected by her words.
"You okay?" She tugs my arm and I nod at her, rubbing my sore eyes after I had pushed my glasses up on my head. "Yeah. Thank you. For saving me from her."
"It's okay, that's what friends are for, right?" She smiles at me before looping her arm with mine. We walk down the halls and finally, the crowd which had gathered, disperses.
Thank god for that.
"You could have slapped her." Lucy suggests as we make our way down to the bathroom.
There, I look at myself and sigh. My hair is sticking to my neck and that irritates the life out of me. I don't even have anything else to wear.
Well, people don't come to school with clothes in their bags instead of books, Sophia. My Ms. Subconscious peers at me and gives me a pitiful look.
"You know I can't. Her mother will murder me." I say in my defense, taking out the pins from my hair and groaning in the process.
"Stupid fucking pins." I hiss.
"Here," Lucy says as she throws me a towel at which my eyes widen in surprise.
"Why do you have a towel with you in school?" I ask her.
"I may or may not have taken it from staff room's bathroom on our way here." She winks at me.
Do I even have a choice than to use a stupid towel who god knows how many people it touched? Apparently, no. So I use it to dry off my hair and I dry off pretty much of it.
After a good 15 minutes, I was done. "Yeah, you look better than last time at least." Lucy commented and I rolled my eyes.
"Thanks." I hit back.
"I'm hungry and we should go to the cafetria. Come on, Sophia." She yanks my arm and pulls me out of the bathroom and we make out way to the cafetria.
"Right." She says under her breath and starts to put on random food items on my tray once we reach. "Luce, what are you doing?" She doesn't miss my confused look when I say that.
"I'm getting you food. Real food. And not just a granola bar and some candies. Jeez." She slams down a carton of milk on my tray, making me jump.
"Um...okay? I guess."
After several more minutes for searching for real food, as put by Lucy, we make our way to the table — the one at the back which seemed to be abandoned for ages.
"That should do." Lucy says, more to herself than me before she uses her free hand to grab my own and drag me towards that very table. "Hey, hey, hey slow down or I'll trip!" I shoot daggers at Lucy who, for the umpteenth time, doesn't seem to care at all.
"You'll be fi-" her words are cut short as I fall, being the Ms. Clumsy I was. "Shit," I cursed, rubbing my butt.
"What the fuck?" The loud sound of cursing makes my head snap to my right and them my left. Everyone's see. seeing in my direction so...
Three words, one sentence : Oh my God.
"What the fuck Clarke?! Can't you see!" Max's voice makes me look in front of me — only to realise that he's standing there, right in front of me, with his eyes creased because of...
Oh Lord.
Because of... my milk carton and the broccoli soup which Lucy forced me to get ended up on his clothes. Dear god. Help me.
"I said," he says through gritted teeth, "are you blind?!" He seethes.
Anger boiled inside me. He still had the audicity to say that even after what he did— just for how I spilled some drinks on him.
"Oh I'm sorry," I scoffed, "Who the fuck are you to say that to me?! Last time I checked, you made a bet on me! This is just milk spilled all over you after all!" I got up.
Max seemed to be stunned, "You? What did you say? You...you were the one who kissed my best friend!" People now looked at us, silently whispering something to each other.
"Oh well. Fuck you for not letting me give an explanation!" I yelled.
This time, everyone was looking at us. From the corner of my eye, I saw Lucy with her jaw almost touching the floor.
"The scene that day before my eyes was enough to open my eyes." He whispers, as though forgetting that we are in the school and everyone's watching us.
"No it wasn't! You could've at least given me a chance!" I yell.
"I'm through giving cha-"
"You two, in my office right now." Mr. Lee, our principal gave us a two finger point and I knew we were in trouble.
Uh oh. This is gonna be bad.
