There was no way I would be able to climb this tree with heels on. The heels were going off. I climbed this tree all the time. I was at the branch before Alex even got in the tree. The branch was kind of high up, so the photographer stood way back on a ladder. Once Alex got up to the branch, he immediately put his arm around me and I put my head on his shoulder as we stared at the beautiful sunset. The branch was very wide, probably 3 feet. We sat up and did something adorable: he did half of a heart and I did the other half and we kissed. Picture 2 was my favorite so far. For the last one, we turned around so our backs were no longer facing the photographer and so our faces were. That's when we did the one of me laying down with my head in his lap and him staring down at me. I remember how Josh and I had plans to get pictures like this taken. That never happened, but this did. We have been dating now for a week. We were a cute couple. We headed down from the tree to see the pictures. "I must say," she started, "these turned out beautifully!" She showed me the first one. That was Alex's favorite. She showed me the heart-hand one, goals! That picture was absolute goals because above our hands you saw a beautiful silhouette of two people kissing! In love with these already! She showed me the last one and I just about cried. It was so darn beautiful! That was my new favorite! "I love these so much," I said gleefully. "Which reminds me," he said with that same old smirk. He got down on one knee and pulled a ring from his pocket and said, "Alexis Rae-Lynn Ferguson, will you be mine?" The photographer snapped a picture. I grabbed him and said, "Oh my god yes!" I immediately started crying and she got a picture of him slipping the ring on, and of us hugging.

I haven't felt this complete since I was with Josh.
