The next day I couldn't take it anymore. I had to. I needed someone. Karen was too busy in college and with her snobby friends. I needed a man. I had to have someone who was like Josh to bring me back to life. I needed happiness, and I had none. I just decided to start a Tinder account.
Later that day, as I was going up the hill to watch the evening sunset, I decided to call Alex. He was my twelfth grade crush. He lived down the hill, and we were pretty good friends. So why not give this a shot?
"Hello?"
"Hey. It's me, Alexis."
"Oh, hey."
"What's up?"
"Nothing how about you?"
"Not much. Hey I was wondering if you would meet me on the hill and watch the sunset."
"Haha. Of course. I'll be there in five minutes."
"Great! I'll see you there."
"See ya."
That's when I hung up. I was so happy I would get to pour out everything to a gorgeous person!
But, that didn't exactly happen.
