Your POV

Today Mattie is taking me to the Vancouver Aquariums. The penguins look so cute! I pushed my face to the glass trying to get a better look at the penguins. I'm sure I look like a child right now, I heard giggles from behind me and I just looked back to see Mattie giggling with Kuma.

"What are you guys giggling at?" I said looking at them seriously crossing my arms.

"You, mommy!" Kuma said pointing at me, then Mattie just gave him a smack on the paws then lectured him not to say that.

"You might get discovered Kuma! Now stay still." Mattie said then Kuma stayed still almost looking like a stuffed bear because of the purple ribbon on its neck.

"Sorry about him Maple.." Mattie said.

"You don't have to say sorry for everything you know." I said.

"O-oh.. well I just felt like I needed to apologize for Kuma." He said looking away.

"I mean it's alright I know I look like a kid for it but I don't usually see Penguins in my country." I said.

"And plus even if you do something really bad. I know you didn't mean it." I continued, and Mattie just nodded.

After that we visited all the other Animals and fishes that can be found ,and I really enjoyed myself! I had so much fun sometimes I feel like a kid ,because of this. My mind usually turns into one when something curious happens or when I see something curious. After visiting the Aquarium we ate in a pancake house nearby and went back to Mattie's house. The drive was a bit long but I managed to sleep until we got there ,but I woke up when I realized we were already there.

"Mommy let's play a game!" Kuma said as he sat down on the living room couch.

"Mhm. Sure what kind of game?" I asked the polar bear.

"Hide and seek!" He shouted.

"We're only 2." I said.

"Not if...what's his name again?" Kumajiro said pointing at Mattie. He just gave a sight and told his name again for the umpteenth time in the day. "Not if Mr. Canada joins!" Kuma said.

I looked at Mattie and he agreed to play hide and seek with us, since Mattie was last to join he was the seeker.

"Okay you guys have 10 seconds! Remember you can only hide in the house!" He shouted.

"No Mattie that's too short give us 20!" I said.

"Yeah!" The polar bear agreed.

"Fine, okay ready set go!" Mattie said and closed his eyes as he started counting.

Kuma signaled me to help him up the stairs I nodded in agreement since I was going upstairs too. Once we reached there Kuma started running to a room and I started to look around for a good hiding place. I crossed out the obvious places like under the bed and inside the closet, I was determined to win this game! I realized there weren't any good hiding places upstairs so I went back downstairs.

"10, 9,......" Mattie counted. Oh shit. I better hurry but where should I hide! I started to scramble all over the downstairs till I just hid behind the kitchen counter.

Mattie finally finished counting and said the signal "Ready or not here I come!". I heard his footsteps coming near me, alright I know what to do when he looks at the kitchen counter I'll just move to the other side.

I peeked a bit and realized he was coming near the counter, I readied myself and moved to the other side when he looked behind the counter. When he was done I moved behind again.
