March 9th, 2027.
"Grab Victoria!" I yelled. We threw Victoria on to the back of Ross's horse and started riding away. The troll gave out this booming roar that shook the trees causing the birds to fly away. I started shooting at it causing it to slow down. Sterling shot an arrow right into its left eye. The troll fell back for a second giving us time to move.
I don't know who I wanna kill more, the troll or her. I watched as Victoria smiled at me as if she had one.
"Ethan!" Ross yelled, I looked behind me and saw the troll was up again.
"Damn it!" I pulled out my pistols and fired four rounds into its leg.
"Heads!" Sterling shouted warning us to duck as he shot an Arrow into the trolls chest killing it, causing it to suffer and die.
We all walked over to the troll.
Damn it, Damn it!
I started shooting at the troll in frustration.
"Ross tie her up to the tree!" I snapped. My fist were shaking and my chest felt like it was on fire.
"Calm down." Lucas told me.
"He's right." Trace agreed.
"Calm down, calm down? She better tell us where Sierra is before I fucking shoot that smile off her face."
Victoria smirked at me, challenging me, basically daring me to come near her.
"She's not leaving with that in her leg." Sterling kicked the arrow in her leg and she flinched.
"We still need her to talk." Ross said.
"Oh I'll get her to talk." I marched up to her and pointed my pistol to her head, but all she did was laugh at me.
"Go ahead and kill me. If you shoot me Lucifer will have won."
"She's right." Trace said, "We need her."
"But she's a kings men, one of his loyal dogs, she won't talk." Lucas said.
"Ahhhhhhhh!" I shouted, "Who has the transport stone?"
"That won't work. Lucifer is in a secluded location. You won't find him." Victoria started, "you've lost."
"Ethan, they got us." Ross said. I looked around frustrated. I had no idea what to do, we were at a total loss that no one saw coming.
"What now?"
"Now we make her talk." Trace said.
"I'm fine with just killing her now." Sterling held a arrow to Victoria's head.
"I'm with Sterling."
"We're not going to kill her." Lucas shouted, "We're better than that and you know it." Sterling and I lowered our weapons. It was clear both of us were angry.
"What I want to know is, why a girl like you would defend such man like Lucifer?"
"He's my king. When I had nothing, Lucifer gave me everything. He has saved many people."
"And killed hundreds in the process." Sterling snapped, but Trace put himself between Victoria and Sterling.
"She's the only one who can help us get Sierra back."
"She's also the reason why Sierra is gone." Sterling snapped back and walked away.
"So what now?"
